We're looking for an enthusiastic HR Coordinator to join our collaborative Human Resources team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a strong HR foundation while supporting employees across Canada and partnering with teams throughout North America.
In this role, you'll gain exposure to onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, reporting, HRIS administration, and the implementation of Workday, one of the world's leading Human Capital Management systems. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the employee experience while working alongside experienced HR professionals who are invested in your growth and development.
What You'll Do
Employee Lifecycle Support
- Coordinate and manage employee onboarding and offboarding activities
- Prepare employment letters and cross-border entry letters for Canada and the U.S.
- Ensure a seamless and positive employee experience throughout the employment journey
HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain HRIS records, including new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, compensation changes, and employee updates
- Support HR processes for both unionized and non-unionized employee groups
- Conduct regular HRIS, payroll, and compensation audits to ensure data accuracy
- Assist with the efficient day-to-day operation of the HR department
Employee Support & Engagement
- Respond to employee inquiries with a customer-focused approach
- Help coordinate company events and play a key role in supporting an active social committee
- Facilitate local employee programs and company-wide initiatives
- Administer employee assistance and rebate programs
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in HR projects by helping define objectives and support implementation
- Assist with the rollout and optimization of Workday
- Support year-end training reporting and CSR reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience
Vendor & Financial Administration
- Manage monthly vendor statements and payments
- Process HR invoices, coding, and cheque requests
- Support compliance and administrative reporting requirements

What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or certificate, preferably in Human Resources
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar systems
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the initiative to drive positive change
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered a strong asset
- Working toward a CHRP designation
- Previous experience in HR administration, coordination, or a related field

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates, the base pay range for this position is $65,500 to $70,000 per year.
