Digital Manufacturing Solutions Product Manager - Performance Polymer Solutions;

The Digital Manufacturing Solutions Product Manager will create, deliver and sustain high quality, validated and well-maintained software products within the defined Digital Manufacturing Solutions architecture for Digital Manufacturing Operations.

Will drive business value through partnership throughout the business, especially with operational teams, delivering value early, using iterative delivery techniques based on short release cycles and the principle of a minimum viable product and guiding the development team (either internal or external) to create maintainable, tested and scalable solutions, that fulfill business need now and are cost effective and supportable into the future.

Will develop and deliver new tools for the execution of manufacturing and will require working with sites and other enterprise resources to design and define systems to better support manufacturing activity.

Key Accountabilities:

In addition to working closely with vendor or internal development teams, the role will also be responsible for governance and stakeholder management for both development and deployment.

Working with the businesses to create highly functional deployment teams and ensuring strong governance of deployment phase gates is achieved.Requirements Elicitation and Gathering including identifying user stories and epics. Also use techniques such as interviews, user story mapping and process mapping workshops and observation to truly understands the existing systems and processes and how software can support a better outcome for the end users.

Product Backlog Design, Wire Framing and User Requirements Documentation including support quality teams in the design of system validation and IQ, OQ and PQ validation processes.


Align with operations team to ensure up time of Alignment and Support of Deployment Operations with relevant business deployment resources and PPS Project management capabilities.


Interactions with Senior Leaders, Product, Portfolio and Project Governance teams.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science, Software Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering (with demonstrable digital experience) or similar; Required

Master's Degree Computer Science or Software Engineering; Preferred.

6+ years experience owning and running change management projects in manufacturing environments.

3+ years experience in both Project and Portfolio Management.

2+ years experience implementing and/or maintaining software in manufacturing/operational environments.


Proven experience/capabilities within Supplier and Vendor Management, Change Management and Training, Agile Product Owner, Knowledge of Good Development Practices, Development in Python or similar, Design Patterns and Paradigms.

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $102,000 to $158,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.


In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $115,260 to $178,540. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
