WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Application Analyst designs, implements, and supports IT solutions that enable and enhance CertainTeed's business processes. This role leverages best practices across the application landscape while tailoring solutions to meet specific business needs.
The Application Analyst plays a key role in leading and supporting IT projects and initiatives, partnering closely with business stakeholders to drive efficient, scalable processes. This individual translates business needs into functional requirements and ensures alignment with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Governance: Collaborates with CTIT BPC team members, IT resources, and business users to guide process owners in evaluating and improving their processes. Helps define value propositions, streamline operations, and identify automation opportunities, resulting in robust application design.
· Production Support: Manages support tickets (incidents, change requests, and inquiries) and documents resolutions within the helpdesk system to ensure continuity and transparency.
· Change Management: Ensures system integrity through all application changes. Executes updates in compliance with SOX, SOD, and related policies. Leads or coordinates all aspects of change management, including requirements gathering, configuration, development, testing (unit, integration, regression), user acceptance, documentation, and training to enable effective tool adoption.
· Project Delivery: Delivers or coordinates project deliverables, including blueprints, functional and technical specifications, system configuration, testing, training, cutover planning, and go-live support. Ensures accurate documentation throughout all phases of deployment.
· Project Leadership:  As needed, manages small- to medium-sized projects with responsibility for budget, timelines, and quality. Directs resources and contributes to the development of internal methodologies and best practices.
In this techno-functional role, the Application Analyst works closely with business users, IT teams, and external consultants to deliver high-quality solutions across multiple platforms and cross-functional areas in a fast-paced environment.
 

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

Education:
· Bachelor's Degree in IT, Pricing, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (or 10+ years of relevant experience)
 
Work Experience:
· 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting at least one large, complex, full lifecycle ERP program or pricing application 
· 5+ years of experience designing and implementing business processes aligned with industry standards and best practices across multiple areas  -
· 5+ years of experience with functional configuration and design in Pricefx or similar tools (e.g., Vistex, Vendavo), including integration with SAP SD and Salesforce  - 
· 5+ years of experience in pricing or profitability analytics within a similar industry  - 
 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Strong understanding of industry and global best practices within ERP and pricing application landscapes  -
· Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead project teams and/or application support efforts 
· Ability to document and communicate business process flows clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences 
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design standardized, scalable solutions 
· Experience reviewing, validating, and approving project documentation 
· Ability to develop recommendations and strategic roadmaps 
· Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and guide solution development 
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into simple, business-friendly language 
· Ability to bridge business and technical perspectives to identify optimal solutions 
· Strong coordination skills to analyze issues, define requirements, and partner effectively with development teams
