WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our Wayne, NJ plant production team and to support both new and existing products. In this role, key responsibilities are:

  • Troubleshoot production challenges
  • Improve manufacturing processes
  • Design tools that help produce parts efficiently and consistently.

This is a key opportunity for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys driving productivity, reducing bottlenecks, improving methods, strengthening processes, and enhancing material flow. The Industrial Engineer will also provide leadership to Shift Technicians and the Production Project Coordinator to help ensure efficient, reliable production operations and meet schedule requirements

 

 

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical/industrial or related field - master's degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on process innovation and technology implementation.
  • 3+ years of experience in the automotive, aerospace, or related industries preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in supervising production technicians on manufacturing floor

Other requirements include:

  • Ability to lead projects and coordinate initiatives across cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex challenges effectively
  • Experience using CAD software to support design, engineering, or process improvement activities
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency with data analytics, digital tools, and performance monitoring systems to support informed decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization

Pay Transparency:

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $81,500.00 to $126,500.00 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,600.00-TTC to $139,100.00 TTC. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee
