The Role
The Warehouse Supervisor leads the safe, accurate, and efficient movement, storage, inventory control, and shipment of raw materials and finished goods within a 24-hour, seven-day manufacturing operation. The position directs warehouse employees, coordinates warehouse activities with production, customer service, planning, transportation, quality, maintenance, and other business partners, and is accountable for employee performance, safety, inventory accuracy, on-time shipping, customer service, cost control, and continuous improvement. The Warehouse Supervisor reports to the Service Manager and independently directs the day-to-day activities of the warehouse department within established company policies, budgets, safety requirements, and operational objectives.
- Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate warehouse employees while promoting safety, accountability, teamwork, and strong performance.
- Plan daily staffing, work assignments, schedules, overtime, and use of labor and equipment based on production and shipping needs.
- Oversee receiving, storage, inventory movement, order fulfillment, loading, and shipping activities.
- Ensure customer orders are completed accurately, safely, and on time.
- Coordinate warehouse priorities with Production, Planning, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality, Maintenance, Transportation, and site leadership. Monitor inventory accuracy, cycle counts, warehouse transactions, space utilization, trailer availability, and material flow.
- Address employee performance, attendance, training, and workplace concerns in partnership with Human Resources and management.
- Review employee time records and ensure all hours worked are accurately reported.
- Reinforce compliance with company safety programs, powered industrial truck requirements, dock procedures, PPE standards, and applicable regulations.
- Conduct safety observations, support incident investigations, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Monitor labor, overtime, freight, supplies, equipment, and other warehouse-related costs.
- Track and report key performance indicators such as safety, inventory accuracy, on-time shipping, productivity, product damage, shipping errors, detention, and freight costs.
- Lead continuous-improvement efforts involving warehouse layout, material flow, staffing, equipment utilization, procedures, and system accuracy.
- Maintain warehouse procedures, training materials, records, reports, and operational documentation.
- Provide leadership coverage outside normal business hours when operational needs require.
- Perform other related duties consistent with the scope and level of the position

Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent, required
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Management or other related field is highly preferred
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in warehousing, shipping, receiving, distribution, logistics, inventory control, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- 1+ years of experience in planning work, assigning employees, managing performance, and holding employees accountable for operational results
- Experience with ERP systems, preferrable SAP
- Experience in 24-hour, seven days per week manufacturing environment

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $72,500 to $111,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $79,000 to $121,500. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
