INFORMATION FOR REMOTE SAINT-GOBAIN USERS:

A new protocol has been developed for those working remotely and without access to a location with IT.  As noted this morning, as an important first step, Paris has created new “patches” to protect our systems.  Patches to remove the virus are still in development. 

Most of you at a location should have already provided your laptop to IT for them to manually install the patch.  Those working in remote locations were asked to call the help desk.  However, we have now developed a new protocol to allow remote users to download and install the patch the instructions below.

For remote workers that are NOT infected (it will be clear if your computer was impacted as the home screen will be locked displaying a ransom message), to download the patch follow the instructions below.

If you have any issues with the download and installation, contact the help desk at 877-295-7723.

Again, all other users should give their laptop to the IT representative at their location for the installation of the patch.

1. Click one of the following links to download the file (all download sites below contain the same file):
Download Site #1  |  Download Site #2  |  Download Site #3  |  Download Site #4

2. Click Save As and Save to desktop:




3. Once Saved, right click and click extract all.



4. Click extract



5. Once completed double click 2 – script-workstation



6. Click Agree



7. You will see this screen running.



8. Once completed close the boxes



9. Reboot machine
