Shares responsibility of monitoring processes and product quality including first and last piece approval, inspecting incoming raw materials, PSI testing, final audits, weekly scale verification, and particulate monitoring. Granted the authority to accept or reject product on established criteria, and interrupt unsatisfactory processes. Promotes safe working environment and exhibits good environmental practices. Interacts with all departments to assure quality processes and products.

Inspect and measure first and last pieces according to parts prints. Records results. Final audit work packets.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Red Seal Licensed Millwright

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Alexandria plant is searching for an Red Seal licensed Millwright. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Millwright is responsible for:

Monday to Friday — rotating shifts based on operational needs:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Evening Shift Premium: $0.75/hr)*

Job Status: Full-time, Permanent
Hourly Rate: $43.80/hr

Attendance Bonus: $ 1/hr **

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and automated production lines in accordance with company and OEM standards.
  • Mentor and train Millwright Apprentices, fostering technical development and promoting safe work practices.
  • Support the continuous improvement of preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Assemble, disassemble, repair, and install mechanical and Pneumatic components for production and facility equipment.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams on equipment optimization, upgrades, and modification projects.
  • Contribute to preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including creating and maintaining accurate maintenance records in the CMMS system.
  • Contribute to productivity, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives while upholding Red Seal trade standards.
  • Filing and documentation of all essential reports as assigned - not limited to just electrical and mechanical.
  • Support basic electrical troubleshooting, repairs and learnings as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth and safe operations.
  • Consistently model and promote the company’s commitment to health and safety.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

Requirements:

  • Valid Red Seal Millwright Certificate (433A) in Ontario.
  • Completion of all required apprentice hours or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial automation.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and repairing production equipment breakdowns with a focus on root cause identification.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Basic Electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Electrician training and/or certification will be considered a strong asset.
  • Solid understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and machine guarding.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and preventive maintenance best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and train Apprentices in alignment with Ontario’s Skilled Trades standards.
  • Basic knowledge in PLC is an added advantage.
  • Good Safety record and acceptable Discipline Record.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequent presence on the production floor is required.
  • Duties involve walking, bending, twisting, gripping, stair climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces as needed.
  • Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in full compliance with company policy and safety regulations.

Certain states require pay information to be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $89,500-$138,500 per year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $100,240 to $155,120.

Industrial Maintenance Technician

Why do we need you?

Location: Remote (Must reside in or near Shreveport, Louisiana)
Travel: ~80% field-based at customer sites
Schedule: Flexible hours, including early mornings and late nights

Overview

We have Field Service Tech/industrial maintenance roles supporting concrete manufacturing operations. These positions are remote but require regular field visits to customer sites in the Shreveport area. Technicians will install, maintain, and troubleshoot admixture dispensing systems and serve as the primary technical contact for Ready-Mix producers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation & Maintenance:
    • Set up, calibrate, and repair admixture dispensing equipment
    • Perform preventive and emergency maintenance
    • Ensure equipment reliability and performance
  • Customer Support & Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the local liaison for plant management and batch operators
    • Conduct regular site visits to monitor admixture levels and customer needs
    • Support Field Sales Representatives in maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Scheduling & Field Service Planning:
    • Independently plan and manage service schedules
    • Respond to emergency service calls and short-notice project work

Field Service Technician

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

***While this position is remote, candidates must live in the Houston, Texas area***

With safety as the top priority, the Field Service Technician (FST) is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. Performs troubleshooting services to aid customers in resolving issues and help achieve maximum potential from our solutions. Will be the primary representative at the concrete manufacturing plant. Will install and maintain admixture dispensing systems for each Ready-Mix producer.

The FST will be required to interface regularly with plant management, batch plant operator and personnel. Based at home, the candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time as the only GCP/Chryso employee at the customer sites, thereby requiring candidate to work independently. Schedule flexibility is required. Field visits may be scheduled late at night and/or very early in the morning.

Installation, Maintenance and Repair

  • Technical work pertaining to admixture dispensing equipment includes, but is not limited to installation, preventive and scheduled maintenance, calibration, and emergency and service repair
  • Coordinate problem resolution with other employees as needed always serving as the local liaison and first line of contact to the customer.

Customer Relations:

  • Assist Field Sales Representatives in winning and maintenance of customer contracts by building and maintaining professional relationships with customers by performing regular site visits not necessarily relative to equipment needs or outages.
  • Regular site visits to check on admixture levels and customer needs.
  • Must have sound judgment, excellent communication &time management skills, & the ability to represent the company with customers in a professional manner.
  • Understand the impact of customer satisfaction to achieve corporate goals.

Planning & Scheduling of Dispenser Service Work:

  • An independent self-starter, self-directed person who possesses the ability to diagnose and determine requirements, plan and schedule daily, weekly and monthly events in accordance with the needs of the company and the customer.
  • Interact directly with internal as well as external customers daily and demonstrate organizational skills, planning skills, customer orientation and project management skills.
  • Responsible for managing ‘response time’ consistent with customer expectations or agreement.
  • Must be on continuous call to respond to customer requests for assistance; diagnoses and solves technical problems, providing on-site assistance to customer locations for proper application of our equipment/products.

Equipment Service Administration:

Proficient with computers in order to order equipment, Warehouse part re-stocking, Expense reports, Service Management System compliance, Preventative Maintenance, calibration scheduling and compliance, actively control expenses and demonstrate stewardship of company resources, maintain real time participation CRM reporting systems.

Other Duties:

  • Complete all safety training & Observe all safety procedures, both of Saint-Gobain & those of host companies.
  • Develop a solid understanding of concrete/concrete industry, most importantly the operations of a concrete plant.
  • Recommend modifications and product changes to improve reliability of equipment
  • Work with R&D providing input to new system designs or researching/testing concept of operation of new parts and providing input to improve reliability & performance

Sales Administrator provides support to the company’s sales management, sales team and Technical Service through consistent coordination and execution of tasks and activities that intersect between sales support, customer service, and office administration.

Essential Functions:

Rebates

  • Track of various rebate information & Review annual rebate calculations

Compliance

Customer Functions

  • All customer service requests to update customer master records
  • Serve as information liaison between Sales and Customer Service
  • Draft sales contracts/rebate programs
  • Customer service requests to find customer numbers in SAP

Pricing

  • Monitor monthly price targets and gather appropriate approvals for prices that don’t meet targets
  • Coordinate and communicate price increases and maintain pricing database
  • Coordinate annual price increases, and any unforeseen increases and/or service fees
  • Cement Price increases quarterly

Invoicing/Billing

  • Audit billing transactions and provide assistance with internal audits
  • Assist with PO generation and invoicing
  • Process service fee credits due to invalid fees or customer already short paid
  • Coordinate waste removals
  • Setting up accounts/adding pricing/liaison between the two groups
  • Coordinate and generate all credit and debit memos for region
  • A/P Support

Ordering

  • Handle inquiries on sales orders from Sales Reps/Managers
  • Monitor orders on block for service fees, and determine whether fee is warranted or not. Respond daily with list of resolutions
  • Support our sales team inquiries regarding orders, pricing, computer questions, how-to, etc.

Administrative/Reporting

  • Enter and maintain all pricing in SAP
  • Monthly sales reports by territory/district & ad-hoc reports
  • Support sales management with other tasks
  • Admixtures Inc. commission payment calculation
  • Set up conference calls and/or webinars for region
  • Add new sales reps to Pronto
  • Coordinate conversion bonuses and enter in EAS for payments

Other

  • Aid with on-boarding and off-boarding of employees
  • Support Ductilcrete and Verifi businesses with customer set up, pricing set up and changes, etc.
