WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

POSITION SUMMARY: The incumbent is responsible for operating and maintaining wrapper and winder machinery as well as other equipment. Good communication skills and must possess a thorough understanding of the Dry End operations and its complexities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Correctly obtain all required supplies, labels, and packaging and apply per product specification. • Perform visual inspection of finished products. • Transport finished product to warehouse. • Communication between the Dry End Operators and the Delta Former Operator of production data produced on shift. • Maintain a properly cleaned area in and around the Winder, Wrapper and supply staging areas. • Responsible for relief duties of the Winder Operators. • Must work in a manner that is safe while continuously ensuring quality, production and performance expectations are met. • Responsible for observing safety precautions at all times and reporting any environmental incidents to their Supervisor. • Participation and completion of required EH&S training. • Responsible for maintaining 5S system. • The incumbent is responsible for performing assigned duties until properly relieved. • Performs related miscellaneous work as required and as instructed by other supervision. PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work an average of 40 hours per week, speak clearly so others understand, vision acuity to see details within a few feet of an observer, accepting of criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations, sensitivity to other’s needs, positive demeanor, and model change management for the business. Must be capable of wearing personal protective equipment necessary to comply with government and company safety standards whenever engineered methods of reducing hazards or physical requirements cannot be reasonably accommodated. Job includes tasks that require walking, bending, twisting, gripping, stair and ladder climbing, entering confined spaces, navigating rough terrain and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. May require long periods of sitting, walking, and standing, working on a computer or engaging in telephone conversation.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Manufacturing plant is not temperature controlled; dust, fumes, and high noise areas are present inside plant areas. Manufacturing processes involve fiberglass, glycerin, latex and formaldehyde. Noise levels exceed 80 dB in some areas of the site. Moving equipment such as fork lifts, buggies, genie booms and industrial sweepers travel throughout the facility, sometimes in congested areas. SAFETY & HEALTH: Follow the CertainTeed Health and Safety Rules, ensure safe operating conditions within Production department and notify co-workers and supervisors of hazardous acts and conditions. Essentials of Sales Development Program- Inside Sales Representative

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Today is an exciting time to be in Sales. The Essentials of Sales (EOS) Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for leveraging customer engagement opportunities (leads) from both inbound and outbound interactions to identify, develop, document, and appropriately route sales opportunities to product sales teams. The EOS Inside Sales Representative will work in a team selling atmosphere, collaborating with co-workers, Territory Managers and Regional Managers, along with external sales teams in regions to maximize CertainTeed products engagement with all customers. This position is based in one of our 12 regional areas and is available for remote work with potential travel to the corporate headquarters in Malvern, PA.

Program Summary:

Our 18-month program provides participants a full-time sales development role, where participants will increase their sales skills and their exposure to CertainTeed. Participants are provided with time in the field, hands on learning, and full access to EPS leaders for networking opportunities designed to accelerate career development. These trainings and travel opportunities are a requirement for program completion and full participation should be given, except for extenuating circumstances. EOS Inside Sales Representatives will support CertainTeed businesses in building strong relationships and portfolios of loyal customers through prospecting new customers and following up on existing leads. They will proactively promote CertainTeed products and research elements and commercial lead generation. They will gain a knowledge base and strong communication of all CertainTeed products and promotions. Representatives will also be expected to collaborate with the managers and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are constantly being met.

Development Program Completion

Upon the successful completion of the program, the EOS Inside Sales Representatives will work with HR and the Sales Training Manager and Inside Sales Manager to explore available opportunities within one of our 12 sales regions in the US such as the Associate Territory Manager 18 month program, or other roles within Saint-Gobain. Those not able to find another role at the end of a successful completion of the program may qualify for a completion bonus if eligibility requirements are met.

Principal Project Engineer

The position focuses on overall process and project management, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, engineering, and strategic automation. This role is accountable for overall engineering project management with advanced technical support in the areas of safety and productivity.

Accountable for install, setup, troubleshoot and validate engineering projects group wide. Excellent understanding of engineering fundamental principles and their applications and be a project management professional or have equivalent experience. A strong IQ and EQ balance, i.e., strong mechanical, chemical, and electrical knowledge and a strong collaborative and engaging leadership style. Knowledge of mechanical assemblies, drive components and electrical equipment ability to perform electrical and mechanical testing and troubleshooting utilizing schematics and experience, i.e., mechanical drives, industrial process control systems and production equipment, PLC’s, HMI’s, hydraulic motors, pumps and valves, material handling equipment, extrusion equipment, bulk chemical systems, batch mixing, facility equipment and packaging equipment. The role requires your commitment, support, and complete ownership through the end of each project where you do not segue the project to the group once it is completely validated and then closed out.

Rider Reach Forklift Driver - 2nd Shift

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Under direct supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in distribution areas according to established guidelines. Ability to operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment while accurately storing, shipping, and receiving product, meeting the company standards of safety, security, and productivity

  • Operating Jungheinrich material handling equipment (Rider Reach Forklift) to safely move product to locations and efficiently move product from outbound staging areas into trailers for shipment.
  • Efficiently picking orders and assembling product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and product ordered is packed and shipped free of damage.
  • Completing equipment inspections daily and documenting findings on the GEMOne System
  • Operating Jungheinrich material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner following the prescribed work methods.
  • Maintaining the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion ensuring that product can be efficiently picked.
  • Label product to the Grainer specifications

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Ability to work 2nd Shift from 3:00PM - 11:30PM with possibility of over-time
  • Ability to operate Rider Counter Balance (RC Forklift) and Rider Reach (RR Forklift) or willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with voice picking and/or radio frequency equipment is beneficial
  • Ability to read and effectively communicate in English, count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly
  • Must have good visual acuity, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
  • Must have no adverse hearing loss that cannot be corrected with hearing aids.
  • Ability to pass OSHA approved Jungheinrich material handling equipment certification.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to modest amounts of heat, cold, dust, noise, and vibrations.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of frequency & intensity in other physical activities including, but not limited to reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, stooping, kneeling & crouching.

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Under direct supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in distribution areas according to established guidelines. WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Ability to work 2nd Shift from 3:00PM - 11:30PM with possibility of over-time
  • Ability to read and effectively communicate in English, count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly
  • Familiarity with voice picking and/or radio frequency equipment is beneficial

Digital Purchasing Analyst

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Digital Purchasing Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and execute the digital purchasing roadmap, with primary responsibility for leading the adoption, support, and continuous enhancement of purchasing digital tools across North America. In addition to serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for both corporate and locally developed solutions, the analyst will contribute to the development of automation and generative AI capabilities that drive procurement efficiency and actionable insights. This role requires close coordination with global and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment, share best practices, and incorporate user feedback into ongoing digital transformation efforts.

The Digital Purchasing Analyst requires the ability to think and act independently to develop and deploy appropriate data collection tools to gather the appropriate information from the business to support the sourcing and management activities for a variety of different commodity and service categories. The candidate must have highly skilled technical proficiencies in Microsoft Office, including Excel, SRM software and BI programming, as well as expertise in enterprise-wide systems such as SharePoint and Power BI.

  • SME (subject matter expert) for Saint-Gobain North America Purchasing team for all Digital initiatives in coordination with purchasing groups in Paris and Malvern headquarters, including tools managed by the central (Paris) team as well as locally developed tools by the purchasing or local IT teams.
  • Leads adoption and training as required of the tools, including site visits, training forums, and webinars
  • Manage communication channels and content repositories (e.g., SharePoint) to ensure timely and effective dissemination of tool-related updates and resources.
  • Develop best practices toolkit for widely used S-G purchasing digital tools to be shared across the organization
  • Manage the purchasing new hire on-boarding process for digital tools (new user access) and training curriculum
  • Support sourcing and category analytics initiatives, including category analysis, data support (cleansing and report generation), supplier research, and supplier selection analytics, in collaboration with category manager(s).
  • Central coordination of pricing and contract management updates in the ERP systems for strategic or category-specific suppliers
  • PO management and coordination centrally or across sites for central or shared suppliers

Maintenance Mechanic

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Responsible for preventative maintenance tasks on industrial machinery, maintain industrial equipment as necessary. Trouble shoot machine break down and repair situations and safely restore the machine to the proper operating condition. Must adhere to all company safety policies and JSA’s while always performing tasks when on the premises. Must possess a thorough understanding of the operation and have acquired additional technical training, both classroom and practical that will further enhance abilities that will meet individual and company needs.

NATURE & SCOPE OF POSITION:

  • Inspect non-operational equipment for component wear.
  • Replace non-operational components of equipment that are hindering the equipment from operating efficiently.
  • Fabricate and rebuild the components to be used on the equipment in the plant.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical problems throughout the process.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and layout instructions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic theory.
  • Basic electrical knowledge and adequate skills to understand various plant processes.
  • Perform welding and burning functions in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Perform daily activities needed to support and comply with requirements surrounding plant maintenance activities.
  • Must be able to dismantle and repair auxiliary equipment such as pumps, compressors, and pipe systems, and perform basic welding and burning in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics, and wire control panels.
  • Fabricate machine parts for the repair of the manufacturing lines.
  • Will participate in training, craft skill improvements, and department safety topics.
  • Report all EH&S incidents – Injuries/Recordables, Near Misses, First Aid, Environmental, and Property/Equipment Damage.
  • Ensure adherence to Waste Management and Recycling responsibilities.
  • Participate in Incident & Near Miss Investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:  The manufacturing plant is not temperature-controlled; dust, fumes, and high noise areas are present in the plant areas.   Manufacturing processes involve asphalt coating and polypropylene.  Noise levels exceed 80 dB in some areas of the site. Moving equipment such as forklifts, buggies, genie booms, and industrial sweepers travels throughout the facility, sometimes in congested areas. 

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of five (5) years of experience and successfully pass a skills test, which is intended to determine mechanical skills and knowledge, basic electrical, A/C, and 3-phase circuits, general welding, cutting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation knowledge and skills. 
  • Basic operating knowledge and understanding of computer systems.
  • Able to work an average of 40 hours per week, speak clearly so others understand, accept criticism, deal calmly and effectively, communicate with all levels of customers, whether internal or external, be sensitive to others' needs, and maintain a positive demeanor.
