IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

As a compounding operator you will be responsible for operating compounding machines to produce products which conform to part print. Assure products meet all quality specifications and are made according to the latest procedures and standards. Set up compounding equipment to produce parts to specification.

Strict adherence and a commitment carrying out the corporate and/or local policies, rules, and regulations in these areas is required. An employee in this position must focus on customers' expectations and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers, and other employees.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Efficient and willingness to perform required work with good attendance and attitude. Understand SOP's relating to the department activities. Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. Must be a team player. Effective communication skills essential - both written and verbal.

Must be able to properly fill out time reporting and work order documentation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires walking, primarily on a level surface throughout the day. May need to climb stairs/steps periodically. May need to stoop or kneel and reach above shoulder heights, below the waist. Lifting as required with proper lifting techniques up to 50 pounds on occasion.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is in a clean room environment where the use of personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, safety glasses, and safety shoes are mandated. Noise levels and temperatures may vary due to areas accessed. There is some exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals such as alcohol.

The Associate Marketing & Product Manager will identify & develop new business opportunities to drive sustainable growth in the Chemical markets for the Industrial & Consumer Solutions (ICS) BU worldwide. Will analyze markets, define growth opportunities, and manage product lines by collaborating with sales, R&D, Application Engineering, Customer Services, and Operations to strengthen the quality, performance, and competitiveness of the Food & Beverage portfolio.

Works closely with the Sales teams in North America, Europe, Asia, and South America to maximize sales opportunities. The Food & Beverage markets served include fluid transfer, pumping, processing, filtration, and sensor applications.

Supports the Global Marketing Director in developing and executing strategies to expand Saint-Gobain’s presence in the Food & Beverage markets. It also contributes to brand development, marketing communications, product line optimization, and profitability analysis within the Food & Beverage sector.

Key Accountabilities:

Product Portfolio Management

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies, tools and processes to maximize sales and profit
  • Execute price and quotation management of product lines
  • Manage product line extensions, additions and rationalizations
  • Define adequate positioning and value proposition of the ICS product lines
  • Ensure proper alignment of the organization to support this positioning

Marketing Strategy

  • Monitor market environment and competitive landscape, compile customer insights and circulate market information
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategy proposals to maximize long-term, profitable growth
  • Support the evaluation of partnership targets to close capability gaps
  • Support the assessment of acquisition target

Innovation

  • Translate business strategies into product and technology roadmaps
  • Support commercial opportunities through product line adjustments or extensions
  • Support Research and Development / New Product Development activities by providing the relevant market/customer needs and Critical To Quality parameters
  • Build business cases to allowing R&D project selection and optimal use of resources
  • Design new business models around product or services

Marketing Communications

  • Develop and implement appropriate communication strategy proposals in target markets through technical publications, digital media, trade shows, etc.
  • Develop and communicate adequate content to defend and strengthen the position of the business
  • Define and implement brand strategy proposals consistent with product and company positioning

 

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Education:

Bachelor of Science Degree within Chemistry, Engineering, or Related field; Required.

Master's Degree within Business Administration, Chemistry, Engineering, or Related field; Preferred.

Experience:

3+ years of technical experience within manufacturing within areas such as R&D, application engineering, process engineering, product marketing, market management, technical or strategic marketing; Required.

Experience within Product Marketing, marketing Management, technical marketing, or strategic marketing, within a manufacturing environment; Preferred.

Experience in Food & Beverage, Liquid Filtration; Preferred.

Technical knowledge of polymers, plastics, extrusion, molding; Preferred.

Demonstrable skills on marketing strategies and product development for the growth of a given market; Preferred.

Experience with Business digital tools, e.g. SAP, QAD, Salesforce; Required.

Travel at 25%; domestic & international, with customers and at tradeshows; meetings; Required.

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $89,500 to $138,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $100,240 to $155,120. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

The Plant Manager will lead all aspects of continuous improvement at Saint-Gobain Life Sciences' manufacturing location in Portage, WI, impacting several product/production lines within Life Sciences' Medical Molding business.

The Plant Manager holds the leading responsibility for the plant facilities and its operations, including Engineering, Materials Management, World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Quality, Finance and EHS functions. Will also collaborate/partner with the leadership/advisement of Customer Service, R&D & Marketing / Product Support for the Medical Molding business.

Promotes a safe working environment, comply with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in functional department safety meetings.

Ensures the safe and cost-effective manufacture/assembly of products, which meet or exceed customer quality and delivery requirements.

Oversees a 24/7 production environment in accordance with GMP & QSR requirements with a strong focus on safety

Key Accountabilities:

Manage, direct and coordinate all operations directly related to production and shipment of all products produced by the facility:  Materials Management, Manufacturing and Manufacturing Systems, Facilities Engineering/Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Shipping and Receiving, Process Engineering, Purchasing while adhering to all EHS requirements

Coach, manage, direct and coordinate Plant staff functions.

Work with customers to understand their issues and develop corrective action.

Serve as principal facility communications liaison with other PPS, Company, and external contacts.

Prepares operational plans and budgets, and report to appropriate Management on actual performance vs. those plans.

Drive systematic cost improvement and state-of-the-art processing.

Develop strategic plans for plant improvements and growth.

Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree - within Manufacturing, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field; Required.

Master's Degree - within Business or Related Field; Preferred.

10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, within operations, management and people development; Required.

Experience with managing a mid to large size manufacturing facility; Preferred.

Operations experience within a regulated industry; Preferred.

Environmental Cleaning Operator - Manufacturing, Life Sciences - 3rd Shift

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday; 11:00 PM -7:30 AM

Pay: $16.50/hour, once the training period is complete. $1.00/hour shift premium.

The position will be involved with maintaining cleanroom environmental control, plant safety and environmental initiatives. Arrive to work at scheduled time and accurately perform and document services to established standards and procedures, including cleanroom gowning and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Ensure the Production facility is maintained at defined standards. Perform and document routine and non-routine inspection and cleaning tasks per standards and procedures and related cleanroom maintenance activities.
Efficiently prepare supplies and cleaning, disinfectant, and rinse solutions daily for production jobs, while effectively communicating with department leads to meet required facility cleaning and disinfection frequencies. Effectively maintain inventory control of required environmental cleaning components and supplies. Promote a safe working environment that complies with proper use of PPE, proper disposal of waste solutions, report incidents and participate in functional department safety meetings. Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements.

Utilize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and applicable log sheets to perform and document all tasks to the standards and procedures established by Quality Department. Common tasks include:
1. Perform cleanroom gowning
2. Prepare and use approved cleanroom cleaning agents, disinfectants and cleaning equipment
3. Replenish supplies in gowning rooms
4. Sweep, mop, vacuum and/or scrub floors using brooms, mops, floor scrubber and vacuum cleaners
5. Clean and disinfect, using mopping or wiping methods as designated, flat surfaces, floors, walls, doors, windows, cleaning equipment, tables, chairs, etc.
6. Clean and disinfect by wipe down shelving racks, product containers, etc.
7. Using Good Documentation Practices, complete applicable log sheets.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED; required.
  • 1-2 years of Custodial, janitorial, or cleaning service; preferred.

Primary Functions:

  • Understand Pedestrian & Mobile Equipment safety in the work area
  • General housecleaning of the work area
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Understand Plant & Distribution Safety Rules
  • Able to understand and apply all safety procedures
  • Understand and follow all SOPs related to the Distribution Trailer Loading operations
  • Understand all Plant emergency situations & procedures
  • Complete Employee Safety Orientation & all safety training programs
  • Report all safety incidents to Team or Group Leaders
  • Proper use of necessary PPE required in the Plant work areas
