Rider Reach Forklift Driver - 3rd Shift

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Under direct supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in distribution areas according to established guidelines. Ability to operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment while accurately storing, shipping, and receiving product, meeting the company standards of safety, security, and productivity

  • Operating Jungheinrich material handling equipment (Rider Reach Forklift) to safely move product to locations and efficiently move product from outbound staging areas into trailers for shipment.
  • Efficiently picking orders and assembling product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and product ordered is packed and shipped free of damage.
  • Completing equipment inspections daily and documenting findings on the GEMOne System
  • Operating Jungheinrich material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner following the prescribed work methods.
  • Maintaining the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion ensuring that product can be efficiently picked.
  • Label product to the Grainer specifications
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Ability to work 3rd Shift from 10:00PM - 6:30AM with possibility of over-time
  • Ability to operate Rider Counter Balance (RC Forklift) and Rider Reach (RR Forklift) or willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with voice picking and/or radio frequency equipment is beneficial
  • Ability to read and effectively communicate in English, count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly
  • Must have good visual acuity, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
  • Must have no adverse hearing loss that cannot be corrected with hearing aids.
  • Ability to pass OSHA approved Jungheinrich material handling equipment certification.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to modest amounts of heat, cold, dust, noise, and vibrations.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of frequency & intensity in other physical activities including, but not limited to reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, stooping, kneeling & crouching.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds consistently, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written directions
  • Must display a high level of accuracy and dependability with a good attendance record

Senior Research Engineer I, STONEfacade

Our CertainTeed STONEfacade team is seeking a Senior Research Engineer with specialized knowledge in concrete to join our team in Malvern, PA. The Senior Research Engineer is expected to lead efforts to develop new products to grow STONEfacade product lines within CertainTeed’s siding business. This individual is expected to have product development responsibility, which includes developing cementitious formulation from the mix to hardened state; characterization of each step; scale-up to manufacturing process; solve problems in the plants; and implement continuous improvements. This engineer is expected to use fundamental scientific principles, along with the latest research and methods, to reduce risk and ensure a successful product launch. Applied knowledge of concrete will be key. Additionally, this role will be fundamental in supporting STONEfacade’s digitalization and automation of several process steps (VOC, Quality Control, Paint, Packaging) to improve the plant productivity and new product’s time to market.

Responsibilities:

New product development and launch:

  • Lead the product development through design, formulation, and testing of cementitious materials to meet aesthetics, performance, sustainability, and cost improvements.
  • Collaborate with marketing, and production teams to ensure smooth development of new products from concept through to commercialization.
  • Conduct laboratory and plant trials, analyzing results to optimize product performance.
  • Align product development with market trends and customer needs to drive product innovations and improvements.

Process engineering, continuous process improvement, and plant support:

  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to streamline production processes, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Analyze existing manufacturing operations to identify areas for optimization, implementing continuous improvement initiatives as well as digitalization and automation for multiple process steps opportunities.
  • Provide technical support to plant operations, troubleshooting issues related to concrete formulations, equipment, mold development or production processes.
  • Collaborate with plant engineers and operators to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Formulation development and raw material qualifications

  • Develop and optimize concrete formulations to meet aesthetics, performance, durability, and sustainability goals.
  • Conduct research on new raw materials, evaluating their suitability and performance in concrete applications.
  • Oversee the qualification and testing of new raw materials, ensuring compatibility with production processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate alternative materials and reduce material costs without compromising quality.

Technical product management

  • Provide technical expertise to support internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, regarding product performance and capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications, test reports, and technical datasheets.

Warehouse Shipper

Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for all warehouse stock keeping in the warehouse.

The incumbent must load, pull, crate, and stock material as required, working within groups or individually as required.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain safety standards within the policy guidelines in a safe and orderly manner.

  • Responsible for filling out Daily Forklift/Sweeper checklist using our equipment management system or a paper checklist (if applicable) before operating a forklift/sweeper.
  • Demonstrate the ability to complete the Daily Forklift Checklist before operating a forklift.
  • Work within a group or individually as assigned when given a task by supervisor or group leader.
  • Must complete training to use our warehouse management system required to process orders effectively, and maintain inventory accuracies.
  • Complete any additional assignments as required by management based on business needs.
  • Shipper I must be able to demonstrate basic responsibilities of Shipper including (1) Working knowledge of warehouse layout and pulling functions, (2) Demonstrate the ability to perform pulling & loading functions without errors (3) Complete 3 months service before moving to Shipper II.
  • Shipper II must demonstrate (1) The ability to operate lift truck, (2) Lead/Drive for a three man picking team, (3) Use Warehouse management system required for Picking, Transfers and Moves, (4) Complete 6 months service before moving to Shipper III.
  • Shipper III must demonstrate (1) The ability to train Shipper I and Shipper II or Contingent workers, (2) Use warehouse management system to Pick, Transfer or Move product (3) Process RMA’s, WDS’s, NMF’s and all associated paperwork in warehouse management system correctly.
  • Must complete all required safety training and responsibilities such as Coastal , Stop, and TF reporting any other assigned task(s)

Shift: 12 hr shift on 2-2-3 schedule (3 days one week, 4 days the next) Must be able to work every other weekend

Hours: 6a-6p

Pay: $19.50 - $20.69/hr paid weekly

Job Summary

The 2nd Shift Production Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment in the assigned area, producing high-quality products that meet company standards. Essential Functions

  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment specific to the assigned area according to standard procedures and safety protocols while ensuring product specifications, quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure that all products meet quality standards by consistently monitoring for accuracy and detail throughout production and reporting any deficiencies to the supervisor.
  • Perform basic maintenance on machines and equipment, including cleaning and routine checks.
  • Accurately record production data, such as quantities, times, and other relevant information.
  • Load and unload materials by hand or using a forklift.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and participate in Lean Manufacturing or other improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with other production operators and team members to achieve daily and weekly production targets.
  • Promote and support plant initiatives.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment, wear all required personal protective safety equipment (PPE), and participate in safety training.
  • Work efficiently to meet daily output goals and contribute to on-time delivery by managing tasks and workload effectively.
  • Perform routine housekeeping duties to ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and safe.
  • Collaborate with the production team to achieve shared goals and participate in team initiatives.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by leadership.

Shift/Hours:

This is a 2nd Shift position. Work hours are normally 2pm – 10:30pm Monday to Friday but may require overtime before and after shift and on weekends.

Environmental Conditions:

Manufacturing plant is not temperature controlled; dust, fumes, and high noise areas are present inside plant areas. Manufacturing processes involve rubberized asphalt, hot melt adhesive, etc. Noise levels exceed 80 dB in some areas of the site. Moving equipment such as forklifts, genie booms and industrial sweepers travel throughout the facility, sometimes in congested areas.

Payroll Specialist (Part-Time)

Saint-Gobain Research North America is seeking a part-time Payroll Specialist to join their Human Resources team in Northborough, MA. Hours may vary based on weekly payroll needs; 16 to 25 hours per week.

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, and processing of the full cycle of weekly and semi-monthly payroll for our 450+ team members.  The Payroll Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. This role works closely with the payroll team and people managers to ensure that both hourly and salaried employees are paid accurately and on time.  The new hire will respond to and resolve any inquiries regarding paychecks or payroll reporting, while ensuring payroll issues are escalated to the correct person and resolved promptly.  This role requires a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, as well as maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.

Essential Functions

Payroll Processing:

  • Review and verify the accuracy of time entries, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as Saint-Gobain policies. Ensure managers have approved all time records.
  • Download time record keeping reports into an Excel file to calculate additional pay to include overtime, shift differential, etc.
  • Administer full-cycle weekly and semi-monthly payroll for all employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy in the calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy through audit reports, data analysis, and collaboration with HR Business Partners, Compensation and Benefits teams, and people managers.
  • Maintain timekeeping system payroll records, including hours worked and leave balances.
  • Process payroll adjustments and on-demand checks, including new hires, terminations, pay raises, awards, and other benefits changes per direction of HR Business Partners and/or Compensation/Benefits teams.
  • Enter payroll helpdesk tickets as needed (i.e. escalation of payroll issues).

Compliance and Taxation:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and labor regulations by regularly auditing employee tax locations versus addresses.

Reporting and Reconciliation:

  • Answer line calls to troubleshoot any mechanical process or extrusion problem

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Master Data Analyst is responsible for managing and governing supply chain master data with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and usability. You’ll support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), improve ERP-driven planning via the QAD MRP module, and ensure the integrity of manufacturing data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings. This role blends data analytics, business process knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration—leveraging tools like SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and enforce governance standards for master data across parts, suppliers, customers, BOMs, and manufacturing routings.
  • Ensure BOMs and routings are structured, accurate, and aligned with engineering and production requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and data cleansing to maintain integrity and traceability of BOM and routing data.
  • Classify and standardize commodities and components with appropriate category codes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for master data queries, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Create and maintain data dictionaries, governance documentation, and training content for end-users.
  • Support S&OP by preparing structured and validated demand and capacity planning data.
  • Extract and analyze data to support KPI dashboards and operational reporting.
  • Leverage QAD MRP functionality to optimize planning and material flow.
  • Build and maintain reports in Power BI or Tableau for cross-functional visibility.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects to improve data usability, reporting accuracy, and system integration.
  • Model and map business processes to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support cloud-based data workflows and integrations using Microsoft Azure.
  • Contribute to the evolution of data strategy, incorporating automation, visualization, and emerging tools.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Associate or BS Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain/operations and or Data Science or relative experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable, general accounting and/or relevant experience in a mid-size to large company. Prior experience servicing internal customers in a shared service organization is a plus.
  • Experience with integrated ERP and financial reporting systems. SAP and QAD a plus.
  • Experience with data management, Advanced Excel and SQL skills; experience with Python or R is a plus.

The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $74,131 to $102,600.
