Supply Chain Planning Manager

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

What’s the job?

The Supply Chain Planning Manager role combines leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring the planning function supports customer demand, production efficiency  and business goals. Candidate will be responsible for execution in all phases of the Production, Shipments and Inventory (PSI) process for multiple lines of business within the Siding Products Group (SPG). This includes ensuring demand and supply plans are integrated, visible to stakeholders and consistent with SPG’s service.  The candidate will manage inventory levels for finished goods including safety stock levels. The candidate will work in concert with Product Management, Sales, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Transportation to meet business goals.

Additionally, you will have supervisory responsibility for two or more Supply Chain Planners. The ideal candidate is a people leader, process driver, and digitalization advocate who can both develop talent and modernize ways of working.

PSI Management

  • Owns PSI Process from end-to-end for one or multiple lines of business. This includes:
    • Provide functional support and direct supervision to Supply Chain Planner(s)
    • Own the production planning process for all products within lines of business, using SAP and other tools
    • Consolidate and analyze inputs from various stakeholders to create production plans.
    • Facilitate PSI meetings, driving alignment across stakeholders on production forecasts, supply constraints, and inventory targets.
    • Participate in strategic planning and budgeting 
    • Accountable for meeting product service levels, inventory investment, and production plan execution
  • Manages Inventory effectively:
    • Develop and measure the monthly finished goods inventory targets by plants
    • Ensures corrective action is taken at or in-between each planning cycle to meet inventory levels.
    • Leads the planning organization in the introduction and discontinuation of products
  • Ensures Service to customers and efficiency of the Supply Chain, including seamless communication:
    • Monitor KPIs and comes up with corrective actions
    • Escalates any issues to Planning Director
    • Responsible for the efficient movement of materials through supply chain
  • Owns KPIs driving planning performance for respective lines of business, including but not limited to:
    • Perfect Order / OTIF / Inventory Turns / Inventory levels, including safety stock management / Production capacity utilization / Shipping capacity utilization
  • Leads sensitivity analysis (what-if modeling) to measure impact of various demand and supply changes on the PSI Plan

Process Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production planning workflows, reduce manual effort and increase accuracy
  • Identify and implement best practices and digital tools (e.g., APS systems, ERP modules, analytics dashboards) to modernize planning practices.
  • Seek out new approaches to enhance effectiveness of processes
  • Standardize processes, documentation and reporting
  • Champion the use of data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics to improve planning performance.

People Management and Development

  • Mentor, and coach a team of 2 to 3 Supply Chain Planners
  • Set objectives, provide feedback and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Ensure proper workload distribution

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field: Required
  • Masters Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or MBA: Preferred
  • APICS certification (APICS CPIM or CSCP) : Preferred
  • 7+ years of applied professional experience working in supply chain, specifically with material requirements planning, production planning, logistics and forecasting
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role. Proven ability to lead, coach, and manage others.
  • Change management and conflict resolution skills. Strong influencer with good written and oral communication skills, including online and in-person meeting management.
  • Strong knowledge of PSI / S&OP processes and planning best practices.
  • Experience presenting to and/or leading discussions with large groups, including Vice President and Director level executives
  • Proven track record of driving process improvement and leading digitalization/automation projects.
  • Curious and open-minded, driven to seek out new ways to understand what drives a particular outcome
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
  • Ability to travel – 20%

Product Manager - Retail Operations

What’s the job?

Ensure achievement of strategic, business and financial objectives for assigned lines of business within the Siding Products Group. Guides product management actions, defines pricing strategy and drives sales and marketing of CertainTeed and/or Private Label brand portfolio. Determine end user and distribution customer needs and develop new, innovative products and services, targeting ‘Industry Firsts.’ Similarly, through ‘Voice of the Customer’ activities and competitive benchmarking, partner with NPD and Operations to develop product line extensions. Develop volume and share goals by product line by region and track ongoing performance. Provide direction to sales, manufacturing, NPD, customer service, finance and marketing to execute plans and programs. Drive product development projects in support of new business development activities for products across channels. Accountable for managing overall product profitability for both existing and new product lines, as well as defining and tracking sales results for new product launches. Operates with wide latitude for independent judgment and entrepreneurial decision making.

Retail Operational Excellence:

  • Support Retail Operations, Product Management, and National Accounts teams for execution of Line Reviews and Business Reviews
  • Coordinate with Retail Sales, Product Management, and Finance on pricing strategies to minimize channel conflict and outline demand plans for profitable growth and expansion of the retail channel in coordination with other channels
  • Lead the execution of the retail sales strategy within guiding cross-functional teams to deliver products and services that meet organizational goals

Product Management:

  • Full product management responsibility for multiple product lines and hundreds of SKU’s
  • Develop and maintain multi-generational product plans (MGPPs) to guide and drive portfolio strategy
  • Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to maintain product profitability/productivity worksheets
  • Establish product price positioning and set pricing guidelines; adjust through product life cycle
  • Monitor competitive product developments and drive competitive benchmarking activities
  • Facilitate annual review process and make decisions on product line rationalization and provide suggested disposition on slow-moving and obsolete inventory

Lead NPD Projects:

Culture & Teamwork:

  • Works with Marketing managers to develop strategies and tactics for successful marketing of products, including new product launches and repositioning of current products
  • Building strong relationships with key channel partners, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with the company's products and services.

Go to Market Strategy:

  • Develop and implement strategic channel portfolio solution plans to achieve revenue and growth targets in conjunction with Sales Leadership, Product Management Leadership and CertainTeed Retail Team.
  • Leads product planning and definition to ensure the product delivers value to target customers, achieves portfolio objectives, brand positioning and channel segmentation/differentiation goals.

WCM Continuous Improvement Manager

Pay Transparency

Director, Manufacturing Performance - IPG

Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role provides strategic engineering and technical leadership for 30 manufacturing sites across the IPG group, driving World Class Manufacturing (WCM) performance in areas such as yield, reliability, quality, sustainability, and speed to market for new products and processes. The position oversees all engineering disciplines—chemical, electrical/automation, mechanical, materials, paper science, and reliability—while fostering innovation, process excellence, and technical problem-solving. Acting as a key link between operations and R&D, this leader ensures seamless integration of new technologies, raw materials, and equipment into manufacturing systems. 

This role also champions quality systems, predictive maintenance, and advanced manufacturing initiatives, including automation and Industry 4.0, to enhance efficiency and reliability. It partners closely with sustainability teams to achieve 2030 and 2050 goals, ensures compliance with ISO and environmental regulations, and drives continuous improvement through robust WCM roadmaps. With accountability for operational excellence and cost optimization, this position offers the opportunity to shape the future of manufacturing performance across a global organization. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Process Excellence - Lead 20 discrete manufacturing processes, setting standards and critical limits. Provide technical expertise to resolve complex issues, support new product/raw material introduction, and act as liaison between plants and R&D. 
  • Quality - Define and maintain testing standards, ensuring robust plant quality systems. Drive Q&PC Pillar development, manage SME engagement for new products, and oversee system updates. Train teams on advanced testing methods and manage MOC processes. 
  • Reliability - Partner with central TIP (Technology & Industrial Performance) team to strengthen asset care, AM/PM, and predictive maintenance programs. Implement advanced monitoring (thermal, vibration, sound) and analytics to prevent failures and optimize equipment performance. 
  • Sustainability & Compliance - Support 2030/2050 goals, align with central sustainability and R&D teams, and ensure ISO/EPA compliance. Prepare sites for audits, develop corrective/preventive systems, and foster strong external relationships for sustainability initiatives. 
  • WCM Leadership - Oversee WCM champions, roadmap execution, and Single Agenda progress. Drive improvements across all 8 WCM pillars and deliver net manufacturing savings. 
  • Automation & Industry 4.0 - Collaborate with TIP and IT to expand automation and robotics, eliminate non-value tasks, and advance data analytics for performance improvement.

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $165,500 to $264,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.  

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 24% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $205,220 to $327,980.

The Production Supervisor will ensure that employees safely produce the highest quality products in the silicone industry, while following the appropriate company and regulatory standards and ensuring business/operational goals are achieved, for our manufacturing facility in Taunton, MA for Saint-Gobain Life Sciences.

Will Supervise first shift production - 7AM - 3:30PM. Will manage a production team size of approximately 20 employees; subject to fluctuations based on business demands.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Will promote a safe working environment, complies with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in functional department safety meetings. Exhibit good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements.
  • Manage Schedule Adherence, shift utilization, scrap goals, and % OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) by department. Facilitate problem solving activities to help troubleshoot problems on the production floor. Periodically conducts process/product quality audits and communicate customer complaints. Fully utilize and interface with the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to ensure complete data input and output on a daily basis.
  • Coach and develop direct reports. Manage departmental activities and coordinate with support departments to meet facility/corporate objectives. Initiate/participate in self-development and training of others. Understand all safety, environmental and quality policies and significant impact of job activities.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Qualification:

  • 5+ years of supervisory / leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience in working/leading in a union environment is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required

Maintenance Mechanic

Primary Functions:

Responsible for preventative maintenance tasks on industrial machinery, maintain industrial equipment as necessary and support production as needed.

  • Respond to unexpected after hour call outs for repair and support
  • Must be forklift and golf cart certified
  • Maintain quality service by following organization standards
  • Maintain 5-S standards and housekeeping
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and teams
  • Follow all safety training and documents for this site.
  • Ensure optimum operations of equipment by reporting needed maintenance
