Résumé du poste

Les responsabilités incluent le chargement et l'installation des bobines d'acier, l'ajustement des bandes d'acier à travers les rouleaux, l'inspection de la qualité, le fonctionnement de la machine, le transfert des produits finis, et l'utilisation de ponts roulants et de chariots élévateurs. Le rôle implique également l'identification des problèmes de qualité par échantillonnage planifié et vérifications opérateur, la manipulation des produits finis, la préparation des boîtes pour l'emballage, et la conformité aux lois et règlements de sécurité.

Responsabilités:

  • Charger des bobines d'acier et de papier sur des dérouleurs à l'aide d'une grue.
  • Serrez le dérouleur et coupez les sangles sur le serpentin.
  • Guider l'acier dans les zones de traitement (rouleaux) à l'aide de commandes de jogging.
  • Activez la machine à l'aide du panneau de commande en sélectionnant le type de commande. Éliminez tout blocage.
  • Installez ou ajustez les rouleaux et effectuez des inspections de la qualité pour vérifier la conformité du produit.
  • Rassemblez les produits, attachez-les en paquets, placez-les dans le wagon et appliquez l'identification du produit.
  • Préparer tous les rapports de production et de sécurité requis et les transmettre au superviseur.
  • Effectuer tout autre travail assigné par le superviseur, le chef d'équipe ou le directeur d'usine.

Application Engineers work with customers to develop solutions using the portfolio of Saint-Gobain’s bonding, sealing and protection materials. This is the full range - offer is likely to be in the middle of the range. If you are a new grad a starting rate of $80,000 is anticipated.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $74,883 to $115,867 per year. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the implementation and administration of a wide range of Human Resources programs at a three shift 360 employee manufacturing facility servicing ENC and FLS.

This requires the ability to work in a fast paced changing environment and coordination of programs and initiatives between 2 different SOA's each with their own business strategy, goals and objectives.

Act as liaison / provides counsel among the company, employees, program providers and/or government agencies, resolving issues, seeking guidance, providing information, ensuring compliance with regulations and on employee development and employee relations issues. Conduct employee investigations as necessary, including witness statements, summary of findings, conclusions and recommendations for resolution

Continuously supports employee development providing counsel to management, supervisors and employees, throughout the year. Monitors career pathing programs. Assists with the management of annual/mid-year Performance Reviews.

Conducts recruitment effort as required for assigned positions in exempt, nonexempt and temporary roles, conducts new employee orientation, writes and places job postings.

Interface with multiple internal locations to ensure exchange of required information. Provide statistical data for designated programs and answer questions concerning program procedures.

The Generalist will work with the Human Resources Manager, Plant Manager and the Corporate Human Resource team with the implementation of strategic HR programs. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and will play an important role utilizing change leadership competencies to ensure the site will achieve business goals and objectives.

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS

Degree Bachelors,  Human Resources, Business or other relevant area of study; Required.

Degree  Masters, Human Resources, Business or other relevant area of study; Preferred.

PHR, SHRM-CP is Preferred.

2+ years experience in HR Generalist with manufacturing is required.

Job Summary:

Responsible for maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment such as lathes, mills, CNC machines, drills, grinders, conveyor belts, furnaces, presses, ovens and other machines within a 66,000 sq ft. manufacturing facility. Provide effective mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical related preventative and regular maintenance services. Solve equipment problems with minimum down time. Must be familiar with hazardous waste oil policy, handling of hazardous acids and bases and lock-out/tag-out procedures. Keep office, production and common areas in functional condition through a combination of equipment and procedures. Monitor facility for extraordinary cleaning situations such as non-hazardous spills and accidents or heavy usage.

Job Skills and Requirements

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

  • Must have experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Maintenance Technician installing, repairing and maintaining a wide variety of electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
