Responsabilités :

  • Diagnostiquer les problèmes et apporter les corrections nécessaires
  • Déterminer les interventions en fonction des priorités et de l'entretien préventif
  • Réparer, démonter, modifier, ajuster et installer les équipements ; monter les machines selon les plans
  • Effectuer divers travaux de mécanique et de soudure
  • Effectuer divers travaux hydrauliques et pneumatiques
  • Effectuer l'entretien préventif de tous les équipements et du bâtiment
  • Installer les machines et les équipements
  • Evaluer les besoins en matériel liés à ses fonctions et en informer son supérieur hiérarchique
  • Conduire un chariot élévateur à fourche
  • Prendre les mesures nécessaires pour protéger sa santé, sa sécurité et son bien-être physique ainsi que ceux de ses collègues ou de toute autre personne se trouvant sur le lieu de travail ou à proximité.
  • Remplir les formulaires appropriés
  • Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes

What’s the job?

The Process Engineer will recommend and implement improvements to the equipment and methods for the Hot End Operations.

This individual will lead the following activities:  Troubleshoot problems and assist in planning maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures. Train employees on changing manufacturing and maintenance techniques. Actively participate in plant safety program and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities. Manage all given equipment and labor costs to be compliant to department's budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for production and process control for given process area located in the Hot End.
  • Specific technical leadership and knowledge required for manufacturing fiberglass products.
  • Manage controllable expenses to budget specifications with assistance of technical leadership.
  • Assist the Reliability Engineers in the Preventive Maintenance Program for all given process equipment to minimize down time and maximize efficiencies.
  • Maintain current process specifications and audit systems to optimize given process equipment performance. Implementation of changes to minimize variations and maximize quality.
  • Participate in various plant projects such as safety, WCM, training programs and preventative maintenance days.

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • One to three years of engineering experience.
  • Project management: planning, establishing timeframes, coordinating, and decision-making processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: Must be able to plan and actuate activities that ensure the packaging equipment is properly maintained and at peak running order. Must be able to design and perform process and equipment audits and implement changes required by an analysis of the results. Must understand the importance of budgetary constraints when planning maintenance or equipment modifications. Must become knowledgeable of fiberglass packaging techniques and keep current of all related process improvements.
  • Analytical skills: rigorous analysis, problem solving, pro-active approach.
  • Interpersonal: able to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Organizational skills: planning and follow up.
  • Strong computer proficiency with MS Office with additional experience with analytical software such as Minitab.
  • Financial awareness: product cost calculation, project payback, efficiencies, etc
  • Excellent communication and managerial skills are required for this position. Incumbent must have a complete understanding of the manufacturing process. Working conditions include the majority of the time is spent on the manufacturing area which is not climate controlled.
  • Some travel (less than 10%) to other plants may be required.

Job Goals:

This position will actively assist operators by providing support in resolving manufacturing problems and questions. The role will share responsibility with monitoring performance, maintaining process flow, and generating process improvements against losses.   • Proficient in use of computers and spreadsheet software with experience with business systems
  • Knowledge of products, equipment, and processes.
  • Understanding of SOP’s including quality, ISO and GMP.
  • Proficient at interpreting requirements and information from production paperwork, job sheets, batch records, DMRs.
  • Efficient and willingness to perform required work with good attendance and attitude.
  • Strong leadership skills, be a strategic thinker and have a good focus on profitability.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors performance and achieves objectives related to safety, quality, environmental efficacy, timeliness and cost effectiveness of work within the department
  • Drives continuous improvement and documents same utilizing ECN's, Kaizens (A3), Q-18's, PI's, etc.

Responsabilités

  • Utiliser l’équipement de manière sécuritaire en tout temps.
  • Entretenir des communications positives et courtoises avec la clientèle et le personnel des chantiers.
  • Décharger les produits sur les chantiers de la clientèle.
  • Récupérer les produits chez les fournisseurs.
  • Récupérez des bobines d’acier dans les aciéries et dans des entrepôts externes.
  • Transférer les produits entre les différentes installations d’Agway.
  • Détenir et maintenir un permis de catégories classe 1 valide et en règle.
  • Tenir à jour les registres papier et électronique.
  • Effectuer l’inspection de tout l’équipement tous les jours, avant son utilisation.
  • Porter l’uniforme de l’entreprise et projeter une image positive de l’entreprise.
  • Effectuer des trajets nocturnes, au besoin.
  • Utiliser les appareils de levage, notamment des chariots élévateurs à fourche embarqué, de manière sécuritaire.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the industrial electrician is responsible for completing electrical maintenance work as directed by the maintenance supervisor, and other plant personnel, to ensure suitable availability, reliability of plant equipment and machinery associated with the manufacture of wallboard as well as ensuring compliance with local building codes.

 

  • Maintain a safe working environment with regards to all electrical maintenance work.
  • Work within the parameters of the plant’s WCM & quality system with multi-functional teams on WCM projects.
  • Maintain strong focus on Availability/Utilization targets for process equipment.
  • Assist with improving and maintaining plant electrical, instrumentation & automation systems; including preventative, predictive, spares planning/inventory control, purchasing, work procedures & documentation.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling of electrical preventive & corrective maintenance work.
  • Provide off shift support for electrical equipment breakdowns.
  • Assist in generating & recording maintenance history on SAP.
  • Must be adept at conducting IR scanning of plant equipment as required.
  • Some experience working with Maintenance SAP system.
  • Working knowledge of Lock-Out Tag-Out, Electrical Safety, Arc Flash protection requirements are a must.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with machine installation experience.
  • Must be able to perform rotating shift work if required.

The Site Controller will ensure adherence to financial policies and ICRF controls, improving internal business processes, such as loss deployment, to support Saint-Gobain Life Sciences' growth & profitability model. Will play key leadership role providing financial analyses and recommendations to the Plant Manager and ensure the sites/teams' efforts are aligned to strategic objectives.

  • Will lead the annual forecast, budget, plan process at the site and providing accurate explanations of significant variances, including analysis of actual vs. budget and/or forecast. Focus on timely month-end results/reporting but importantly strategic planning to ensure the business is growing profitability.
  • Will manage the processes of the month-end close to ensure alignment of the HPS/LS deadlines, prepare, approve general entries/reconciliations (as needed/required), and ensure accuracy/integrity of the balance sheet (quality of working capital, changes in fixed assets, etc.). Lead the annual standard cost development process for the site to ensure transparency of cost/margin. Ensure all plant accounting activities comply with the processes outlined in the ICRF, IFRS, HPS/LS policies, and sound business practices.
  • Month-end close in QAD, DSS inputs, reconciliations/upload to Blackline, coordinating & preparing internal financial reporting (Monthly GM report – Operational analysis of scrap, labor & overhead cost/variances, Monthly Presentations – Trends/Risks & Opportunities, weekly flash, mid-month pulse checks, etc.).
  • Support LS & Operations Controller with the AD HOC requests, annual plan, budget & standard cost development process. Proactively interact with supervisors, plant leadership team as well as senior management to ensure all parties have a clear and accurate picture of the plant’s overall financial performance.
  • Support CI/WCM initiatives (participation in Kaizen’s, problem-solving events) ensuring countermeasures, projects are defined with clear financial objectives & results are tracked and reported accordingly. Lead loss deployment and Co-manage along with the project manager the capital process & provide guidance/assistance preparing Madison’s, CARs…Create forward-looking financial reviews/assessments, including models, cost/benefit, margin impact, etc.
  • Lead the annual completion of the ICRF gap analysis & ensure the execution of action plans, adherence - Segregation of Duties, system/access controls are in place. Evaluate site internal controls.
  • Coordinate physical inventory and cycle count program to achieve site and SBU goals.

The Precast Concrete Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting existing precast business, managing key precast accounts, as well as developing and pursuing new business to grow our overall sales, profitability.

This position also serves as our technical precast expert internally and externally to our customers and represents us in the precast industry.

Develop and Secure New Business

  • Develop and manage new opportunity pipeline

Maintain and Support Existing Business
