Les Produits Metalliques Bailey, une fière filiale de Saint-Gobain, est à la recherche d’un(e) Coordonnateur(trice) du contrôle de la qualité pour son site de Dorval (Québec).

 

Le/la Coordonnateur(trice) du contrôle de la qualité sera responsable de résoudre les problèmes liés à la configuration des machines, de soutenir les initiatives en matière de santé et sécurité, de planifier les horaires de production et de superviser les activités de fabrication et d’entreposage. Le rôle comprend également le développement de politiques et de procédures visant à améliorer la productivité, assurer la qualité, réduire les coûts et accroître la satisfaction des clients.

Qualité

  • Maintenir les systèmes de contrôle des documents et des dossiers.
  • Créer et gérer les spécifications des produits et les contrôles de modification technique.
  • Contrôler et calibrer les équipements d’inspection, de mesure et d’essai.
  • Créer et gérer les rapports de non-conformité internes et externes ainsi que les retours de marchandises (RMA).
  • Soutenir les réclamations des clients et les débits fournisseurs.
  • Collaborer avec les organismes de certification (UL/ULC, CSA, CSSBI, etc.).
  • Surveiller l’inventaire des bobines et les bobines rejetées.
  • Mettre en œuvre des actions correctives et préventives.
  • Assurer la conformité aux normes et législations locales, nationales et internationales.
  • Effectuer et documenter les inspections quotidiennes du lieu de travail.
  • Surveiller et auditer les inspections à la réception, en cours de production et finales.
  • Participer aux enquêtes sur les accidents, à l’identification des dangers et aux inspections de démarrage des opérateurs.
  • Suivre et analyser les données sur les blessures pour identifier les opportunités d’amélioration en matière de sécurité.
  • Appliquer les politiques de sécurité et de sûreté de l’entreprise.
  • Maintenir et mettre à jour les systèmes intranet, y compris les dossiers et les formulaires.

Planification des matériaux

  • Planifier la réception des matières premières et maintenir des niveaux de stock adéquats.
  • Soutenir la planification des ordres de production.
  • Utiliser le système MRP pour la libération et la planification des matières premières.
  • Surveiller et rapporter les niveaux d’inventaire; effectuer des rapprochements et des comptages cycliques.
  • Réaliser des vérifications ponctuelles régulières de l’inventaire, des fournitures et de l’équipement.
  • Créer et maintenir la documentation de production et d’entrepôt.
  • Coordonner les matières premières, l’équipement et les fournitures.
  • Communiquer les retards ou écarts dans le transport et coordonner les plans d’action.
  • Gérer les transferts interdivisionnels (STO).
  • Soutenir les activités de fin de mois et de fin d’année pour le service des finances.

Formation

  • Former les employés de production et d’usine sur les processus qualité.
  • Aider à la formation des opérateurs sur la résolution de problèmes et le dépannage.
  • Diriger les initiatives d’amélioration continue.
  • Fournir un leadership pour les initiatives de l’usine et le développement de nouveaux produits.
  • Développer et mettre en œuvre des programmes de communication pour favoriser l’esprit d’équipe.
  • Animer des discussions sur la sécurité lors des réunions d’équipe.

Qualifications

  • Leadership démontré dans les initiatives d’usine et le développement de produits.
  • Solide compréhension des processus et procédures qualité.
  • Maîtrise de SAP MRP et de Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word).
  • Capacité à analyser les données de manière critique et à effectuer des dépannages techniques de base.
  • Excellentes compétences organisationnelles, de gestion du temps et de communication.
  • Grande attention aux détails et à la précision.
  • Le poste requiert la connaissance de l'anglais de base en raison de la nécessité de communiquer régulièrement avec d’autres employés de l’entreprise travaillant au siège social en Ontario ou dans d’autres régions anglophones. Quality and Process Control Manager

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

This position is responsible for the leadership and direction of quality systems and process control strategy related to the vinyl siding production process for the Williamsport, MD, plant. The incumbent will control the cost of poor quality by leading efforts to analyze and reduce process variation and develop preventive controls. Additionally, the incumbent will collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, Central Engineering, Product Management, and other critical functional areas to deliver on key organizational objectives with a specific focus on process control and quality systems.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead quality and process improvement by owning COPQ metrics, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing CAPAs.
  • Implement and manage Quality Data Systems in MES, including dashboards for real-time monitoring.
  • Oversee Process Engineering and Automation to drive operational excellence and efficiency.
  • Manage product and process validation to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Design and sustain process improvements, including documentation, visual controls, and operator training.
  • Lead the Quality Assurance team, including supervisors, technicians, and inspectors.
  • Develop and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring regulatory and company compliance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (R&D, Manufacturing, Product Management) to integrate quality into new products.
  • Drive cost reduction and process standardization initiatives to minimize variation and boost consistency.
  • Oversee audits, calibration, and measurement systems, and support change management and best practices across sites.

BENEFITS IN JOINING US

Certain states require pay information to be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $111,000 to $177,000 per year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $127,650.00 to $203,550.00. Bonus payments are part of the variable compensation and, by nature, can vary based on company and individual performance and are not guaranteed.

DUTIES:

  • Perform equipment preventive and reactive maintenance activities

Large Plant Controller

Job Summary

Why do we need you?

This position is primarily responsible for providing financial expertise and analysis support to our Jackson, MI facility.

The plant controller is responsible for all aspects of the financial close, standard costing and financial reporting for the location.  This position should be the go-to individual with plant management to ensure the financial health of the location and assist in managing: inventory levels, cost reduction, capital and spending.  This position also works closely with plant management to ensure proper internal controls are in place in alignment with Saint Gobain requirements.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the timely completion of the month-end financial close
  • Demonstrate awareness of all elements of a plant’s financial statements
  • Prepare all post-closing plant financial analysis, performance reports and meaningful commentary
  • Prepare and coordinate the annual budget at the plant level.
  • Prepare, maintain and analyze product standard costs
  • Support the analytical needs of the Regional Controller and other financial management
  • Partner with plant management to increase plant efficiency and profitability
  • Prepare analysis to understand the financial ramifications of current and proposed business actions
  • Identify issues and proactively initiate analyses / solutions to plant issues
  • Ensure compliance with SGC and SPG policies and procedures
  • Oversee and reconcile inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory
  • Assist in preparation of capital appropriations requests
  • Track cost reduction projects and maintain required reporting
  • Ad hoc analysis
  • Support six sigma by verifying results and work with plant management on new projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA, CMA, or MBA preferable or equivalent, complementary work experience
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive cost accounting and analysis experience with a major manufacturing organization and a minimum of 2 years at a supervisor level. A strong emphasis should be put on knowledge of management accounting, cost and inventory accounting, and GAAP
  • Strong analytical skills are required to quickly grasp issues impacting the plant’s financial results
  • Strong IT aptitude to deliver effective desktop reporting (paperless web-enabled environment), utilize business warehouse tools and MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are required
  • Capable of leading a process team and able to define clear vision, goals, and service standards
  • Ability to manage projects, work independently, and communicate effectively to all areas and levels of the location
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across plant and functional organizations.

Distribution Manager

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Distribution Manager is responsible for ensuring daily efficient, accurate, and timely warehouse operations. These operations include workers' safety, receiving, storage, order picking, shipping, inventory management, and warehouse facility (space) management. This position will support a safe working environment in the area of responsibility at all times. In addition, they will correct or report unsafe acts or conditions through appropriate channels of resolution. This role will perform accident investigations, complete required paperwork, and perform necessary follow-up as required.

The Distribution Manager is the primary managerial contact with the Warehouse Supervisor. The Distribution Manager will help set the tone of conduct regarding employees' attitudes toward their work. The supervisor’s attitude toward the employees, personality, leadership capability, technical competence, and focus on continual improvement will help determine their success.

An important function of the Distribution Manager is the proper scheduling and utilization of people to result in optimum productivity (e.g., sensible use of overtime). The incumbent will provide regular feedback, including discipline and documentation where appropriate, on individual and group performance.

The Distribution Manager will also manage administrative responsibilities, including organizing, scheduling, and dispatching daily work assignments, staging space, and dock facilities to maximize efficient material flow.

Essential Functions:

  • Planning – responsible for balancing the resources of warehouse space, equipment, and time with customer demand. This medium-term planning includes pick location and storage zone profiling, yard management, and identification of equipment and labor requirements in advance of their actual need.
  • Communicate & document employee expectations and assess employee performance. Provide coaching and development opportunities and administer disciplinary action up to and including termination if needed. Will be required to assist in the evaluation and selection process of hiring hourly employees.
  • Oversee the training of warehouse employees to ensure they receive adequate training prior to operating forklifts and any other motorized equipment, ensuring they follow the standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Inventory Management – ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all inventory balances and data records, reconciling SAP as needed. This is accomplished by the training and counseling of employees when necessary to properly record inventory transactions. It also includes administering the cycle count program and investigating discrepancies and errors.
  • Continuous Improvement – serving on and leading employee project teams within the plant and at times, with sister plants, as well as education and training efforts to upgrade personal skills along with those of the warehouse employees. Areas of process improvement opportunity include shipment accuracy, warehouse damage, and picking efficiency.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ensure all project work is undertaken in line with stated company policies and procedures: project execution manual, capex manual, and loss prevention manual.
  • Conflict management of all the coordination of all parties, finding the correct balance to move forward.
  • Coordinate the recruitment of the project team with the TIP NA Engineering teams.
  • Reports the status of the project to the Steering Committee on a monthly basis and provides regular updates to the Sr. Director of Major Capital Projects.
