WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Perform equipment-operating functions including start-up, set-up, production run, shutdown, and housekeeping functions as a crew.
  • Perform computer operations, obtain order information, order changes, etc. as required.
  • Perform accurate reporting functions.
  • Maintain continuous operations by performing minor maintenance functions on equipment.
  • Maintain close attention to detail with the goal of producing a quality product with a minimum waste.
  • Perform Back to Basics inspection.
  • Read, interpret, and perform production functions according to work orders and specifications presented on computer screen and/or in hard copy. Ensure that adequate supplies and materials are available as required.
  • Interact effectively within a team-oriented work group and with others to attain or surpass quality, production, safety, and waste reduction goals.
  • Follow all safety rules and guidelines and perform required safety checks. Performs operations in a manner that ensures a safe working environment for all members of the crew.
  • Analyze statistical process control charts and take appropriate action as required.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to stand or bend continuously during a defined shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a repetitive basis.
  • Ability to work 40 hours during a defined shift, plus overtime as required.

Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $78,000 to $117,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 30% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $101,4000 to $152,100. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

On-Site Infrastructure Technician

The On-Site Infrastructure Systems Technician maintains the server and infrastructure in all North America by tracking infrastructure activity, performing upgrades of OS software, maintaining server hardware, addressing technical problems, and improving efficiency by evaluating system functions.  Capacity Planning

  • Responsible for technical assets: in charge of all technical assets (servers, storage, back-up, printers…), ensure updates to the inventory, the mapping and technical documentations concerning infrastructures.

Customer Relations

  • Ensure that customer needs are considered in line with the strategy defined by DSI Group.
  • Measure customer satisfaction and provide reporting.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution

Technical Documentation

  • Responsible for creating technical documents and manuals, explain complex information in a clear and concise manner and working with SGTS teams to ensure accuracy of detailed descriptions.

  • strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations. 
  • Ability to solve various software and equipment failure problems.  75% of the problems will be standard IT problems that occur in other industries.  The remaining 25% of the problems are specific to Saint Gobain and will require unique solutions.

Security Operations Officer

Job Summary

The Security Operations Officer will provide physical security and protective services for the Saint-Gobain North American Headquarters, in Malvern, PA, including first-line access control management, implementation and maintenance of defensive measures and electronic security systems, personal protective services, and response to medical and security incidents. The Security Operations Officer will also provide fire/security alarm monitoring and access control management for all outlying facilities and offices throughout the North American region via the Global Monitoring System. Take Off Operator

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

The Take Off Operator in our Seattle, Washington plant is primarily responsible to use machines according to safety standards in the area of the production line that stacks, tapes, and bundles gypsum wallboard board together for outbound shipments to customers. The successful candidate will also be responsible to add spacers (known as sluetters) between stacks of bundled wallboard, performing timely quality inspections on a regular schedule using an internal computer and written system(s), ensuring the accuracy of production count, and transporting the bundled gypsum wallboard to the correct area of the warehouse using a forklift.

This position reports directly to the Shift Performance Manager and works independently and within a team setting.

Shift: 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am
Pay: $28.16 per hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Champions a safety-first environment and keeps up to date on new safety policies, procedures, and initiatives
  • Performs quality checks per the quality control plan and escalates issues to Line Production Lead if required
  • Safely operates bundler and stacker machines and tools to produce wallboard according to quality and specification standards
  • Properly adds 8 lbs. sluetters between bundled wallboard for each load according to standards and places sluetters in the warehouse for load placement. Re-supplies sluetters at takeoff using a fork truck
  • Adheres to Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to help address mechanical issues or upset conditions
  • Performs daily fork truck inspection and refuel as needed
  • Places wallboard loads in warehouse properly with forklift adhering to all safety rules and traffic guidelines
  • Clear rejected wallboard from the reject stacker with forklift
  • Maintains an accurate wallboard count making sure every wallboard is of good quality, ensure culled boards are accounted for according to systems and procedures
  • Assists with troubleshooting responses to problems or breakdowns in the Take Off area and on the lines as required
  • Adheres to all housekeeping standards and ensures workspace is clean, safe, and in working order within assigned area(s)
  • Maintains in-depth and ongoing knowledge of assigned equipment, work area(s), procedural and safety updates
  • Works well with others in a team environment
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures
  • Changes out end tape, zip tape, and other consumables on the machine as required
  • Assists with projects and administrative paperwork including recording and entering data into established systems, monthly Safety Management Audit Tool (SMATs), inventory tracking, damage and injury reports, and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) work area improvement projects.
  • Participates in daily pre-shift meetings
  • Participates as required in AIB board meetings and completes AIB tasks as required
  • Participates in biweekly training/continuous improvement days

  • Set-up, start, run, shutdown, clean, and troubleshoot extruders and other production equipment.
  • Build boxes, maintain printers, track tools and equipment, and ensure all needed supplies are available.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork (i.e. all logbooks and line paperwork), read and understand specifications for all products, grade products, and document all changes to the lines as they occur.
  • Keep lines and production floor clean, free of debris, and stocked for the incoming shift.
  • Consistently and effectively communicate with all other team members and ask for help when needed.
  • Participate in and promote safety, quality, continuous improvement events and ideas.
  • Identify opportunities and help find new or better solutions.

Work Schedule

Our shift schedules are fixed with current openings on the following shift:

  • Day Shift - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:30am-5:00pm

Compensation

Starting compensation for Production Operators is $20.00 per hour. Those assigned to the Night Shift also receive a 10% shift differential.

Additionally, all hours worked in excess of 10 hours per day are paid out as overtime. Therefore, in a normal work week, Production Operators work three 12-hours days for a total of 36 hours worked per week. In return, they receive 30 hours of regular earnings and 6 hours of overtime per week.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • One-year manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery and computer entry.
  • Minimum English competency to adequately perform duties and responsibilities, both written and verbal

The targeted bonus amount can be up to 6% of the hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Additional Pay Incentives for This Role Include:

  • Standard overtime (Hourly Rate * 1.5) for all hours worked in excess of 10 hours per day.
  • 40 sick hours are awarded annually and unused hours are paid out in January
