Production Operators are responsible for working safely while following SOPs, quality standards, and follows PPE requirements to produce parts to customer specifications.

  • Safely operate finishing (assembly & packaging) equipment & tools with limited supervision.
  • Follow pertinent SOP and MOP guidelines, inspect product, and complete paperwork with limited supervision
  • Good eye/hand coordination.
  • Basic machine operation.
  • Attention to detail important and good work ethic.
  • Proficient at interpreting requirements & other information from production paperwork, job sheets, batch records.
  • Understand basic mathematics.
  • Proficient with measurement equipment.
  • Good communication skills-verbal and written.
  • Proficient at the operation, OJT & trouble-shooting processes/equipment in assembly and packaging areas.
  • Support site goals and initiatives.

 

Schedule: Monday - Thursday ; 4:00pm-2:30am

Pay: $18.00/hour

Sign On Bonus: $1,000

  • Lead a network of 35 Authorized Order Placers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and training to effectively manage device ordering processes. Place orders for businesses that don’t have an Authorized Order Placer.
  • Ensure that all Mobility Program activities adhere to the organization’s corporate standards and industry best practices, maintaining documentation and reporting where required.
  • Work closely with finance teams to ensure that mobility-related expenditures are accounted for and aligned with budget forecasts.
  • Document all existing and new processes related to the North American Mobility program. Establish protocols for how devices are ordered, managed, and disposed of.

  • Use data analysis methods/tools and reporting to inform decisions and drive initiatives aimed at improving service quality and operational effectiveness.
  • Produce and regularly update technical documents, such as service policies, standard operational procedures, and user guides, ensuring they are accessible and user-friendly. 
  • Analyze documents to maintain accessibility and continuity of style of content.
    Identify and track gaps in knowledge, working with multiple teams to ensure the article is written in a timely manner.

Service Delivery

  • Work closely with Service Delivery Coordinators to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of service requests. 
  • Act as the primary interface between ITSM Vendor and SGC regions.
  • Facilitate communication between the service desk and other IT support teams to streamline operations.
  • Create and regularly update IT service management policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as ITIL. 
  • Lead efforts to standardize service delivery across teams to enhance consistency and reliability.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement through regular analysis of service delivery metrics and customer feedback. 

Project Management

  • Develop project plans for initiatives related to service delivery enhancements and process improvements.

Field Service Technician

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

***While this position is remote, candidates must live in the Houston, Texas area***

With safety as the top priority, the Field Service Technician (FST) is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. Performs troubleshooting services to aid customers in resolving issues and help achieve maximum potential from our solutions. Will be the primary representative at the concrete manufacturing plant. Will install and maintain admixture dispensing systems for each Ready-Mix producer.

The FST will be required to interface regularly with plant management, batch plant operator and personnel. Based at home, the candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time as the only GCP/Chryso employee at the customer sites, thereby requiring candidate to work independently. Schedule flexibility is required. Field visits may be scheduled late at night and/or very early in the morning.

Installation, Maintenance and Repair

  • Technical work pertaining to admixture dispensing equipment includes, but is not limited to installation, preventive and scheduled maintenance, calibration, and emergency and service repair
  • Coordinate problem resolution with other employees as needed always serving as the local liaison and first line of contact to the customer.

Customer Relations:

  • Assist Field Sales Representatives in winning and maintenance of customer contracts by building and maintaining professional relationships with customers by performing regular site visits not necessarily relative to equipment needs or outages.
  • Regular site visits to check on admixture levels and customer needs.
  • Must have sound judgment, excellent communication &time management skills, & the ability to represent the company with customers in a professional manner.
  • Understand the impact of customer satisfaction to achieve corporate goals.

Planning & Scheduling of Dispenser Service Work:

  • An independent self-starter, self-directed person who possesses the ability to diagnose and determine requirements, plan and schedule daily, weekly and monthly events in accordance with the needs of the company and the customer.
  • Interact directly with internal as well as external customers daily and demonstrate organizational skills, planning skills, customer orientation and project management skills.
  • Responsible for managing ‘response time’ consistent with customer expectations or agreement.
  • Must be on continuous call to respond to customer requests for assistance; diagnoses and solves technical problems, providing on-site assistance to customer locations for proper application of our equipment/products.

Equipment Service Administration:

Proficient with computers in order to order equipment, Warehouse part re-stocking, Expense reports, Service Management System compliance, Preventative Maintenance, calibration scheduling and compliance, actively control expenses and demonstrate stewardship of company resources, maintain real time participation CRM reporting systems.

Other Duties:

  • Complete all safety training & Observe all safety procedures, both of Saint-Gobain & those of host companies.
  • Develop a solid understanding of concrete/concrete industry, most importantly the operations of a concrete plant.
  • Recommend modifications and product changes to improve reliability of equipment
  • Work with R&D providing input to new system designs or researching/testing concept of operation of new parts and providing input to improve reliability & performance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6+ years' experience in mechanical/engineering work (1 year of education beyond high school counts as 1 year of experience)
  • Experience with computer systems configuration, mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, 12/24-volt DC electrical systems, and hydraulic system principles
  • Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and detail oriented, particularly about maintaining records
  • Hands on Electro-Mechanical aptitude

Production Operators are responsible for the safe, efficient operation of various manufacturing equipment to produce metal seals to close tolerance specifications. Performs and operates job functions with safety, quality and efficiency in mind and in accordance with specific process sheets and operational parameters. Our Production Operators have overall responsibility for the quality of their product and must have excellent attention to detail with regards to form, fit and function.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform specific metal fabrication operations as specified by supervisor
  • Read and interpret process sheets/work instructions to perform assigned tasks
  • Set up and operate both die forming and roll forming equipment
  • Measure work piece dimensions to ensure accuracy to blueprint
  • Work with manufacturing engineers and other production operators to resolve production issues
  • Work safely at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • High School or equivalent level of training and experience.
  • At least (3) years’ experience as a manufacturing operator is highly preferred
  • Experience with metal fabrication processes such as die forming, roll forming, welding strongly desired
  • Press operation and setup strongly desired
  • Experience with basic measuring equipment such as calipers or micrometers
  • Experience reading and interpreting job instructions and blueprints
  • Experience in a smaller production environment

Extruder Operator Helper Trainee

The Extruder Operator Trainee is primarily responsible to pack product and assist in production line operations. They must be able to maintain a well-organized and clean work station as well as update required documentation to ensure a quality product. All operations will be under supervision from Helper Trainers and Supervisors during the training period.

Shift: Night Shift 6PM-6AM 2/2/3 Schedule

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform job in a safe manner following all rules, regulations, and training. Perform daily safety inspections and report all unsafe conditions or Near Miss events immediately. Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required, including designated PPE for Trainees. Use hand tools as intended. Follow all environmental and housekeeping requirements, properly dispose of trash, regularly sweep keeping material, oil and water off floors and keep contaminated material from entering process water system. Ensure that the line is cleaned during and prior to the end of the work shift.

Package product per specification under supervision of Helper Trainers and Supervisors - make boxes, correctly code labels, properly configure and nest product, glue and secure packaging, configure and build product onto pallet, insert slip sheets, band product to pallet and insure that product is secure before warehousing.

Assist in the operation of production lines. Assist in line checks and look for product defects. Manage pigment containers, regrind totes, ASA boxes, material hoses to the silos, daybins, and hoppers.

Operate peripheral line equipment – online grinder, scrap cutter, and boxing table. Assist in clearing jam-ups of material from machine works, pull and segregate bacon strips, manage line sags, purge out lines, re-string lines, assist in product and color changes, assist in changing sizers, and properly segregate and rack regrind and isolate contaminated material to scrap. Ensure inventory of boxes, banding, glue, and labels is maintained on line. Change over boxing table during product changes.

Perform to all quality expectations, isolate/ report all defects, ensure that the product meets all dimensional and cosmetic standards, abide by all ISO 9001 systems, adhere to all MADE standards and follow SPC guidelines under guidance of Helper Trainers and Supervisors

Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly is essential.

Communication (Oral) - Ability to communicate with Supervisor, Extruder Operator and Set-ups, co- workers and managers effectively is essential.

Detail Orientated - Ability to note minute detail impacting product quality and packaging is critical.

Be the liaison between Machine Services and Process Engineers.

  • Participate in training newly hired operators and work with existing operators getting cross trained in new skills.
  • Set up and operate Forming machines according to standard operating procedures and established volume expectations when required
  • Work on project-assigned basis, design new and modify existing equipment in order to improve process safety, product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiencies
  • Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operation efficiency, and safety
  • Visually observe, troubleshoot and report non-conformance condition (either product or process) to supervisor or manager as required.
  • Understand all environmental policies and significant environmental impact of job activities in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.
  • Exhibit safety awareness and safe work practices

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Technical certification or Manufacturing Production Technician certification strongly preferred.

  • Able to read and follow SOPs, labels, instructions, and blueprints.

EOS Associate Territory Manager will support CertainTeed businesses in building strong relationships and portfolios of loyal customers through the development of new and existing customers. They will proactively promote CertainTeed products, systems, and programs. They will gain a knowledge base of all CertainTeed products, systems, programs, and promotions used to sell and promote the brand to potential customers throughout the U.S. Representatives will also be expected to collaborate with the managers and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are constantly being met.

Development Program Completion

Upon the successful completion of the program, the EOS Associate Territory Manager will work with HR, the Sales Training Manager, and Sales Leadership to explore available opportunities within one of our 12 sales regions in the U.S. for a Territory Manager role, or other roles within Saint-Gobain. Those not able to find another role at the end of a successful completion of the program may qualify for a completion bonus if eligibility requirements are met.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • BA/BS Degree required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a sales or consultative selling position.
  • Must have proven planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • A flexibility for travel or relocation.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $57,100 to $85,600 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $ $62,810 to $ $94,160. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
