The Manager of Product Information Strategy is a key role on the Corporate Marketing team that holds oversight for effective product data and digital assets for CertainTeed’s extensive portfolio of products.  Partnering closely with IT and business units, this individual oversees a centralized team in marketing that leads our Product Information Management and Digital Asset Management initiatives, building processes and best practices, creating guidelines and standards for effective marketing assets, and ensuring the organization has the most effective product data and assets to facilitate findability and awareness and promote product preference. This role is pivotal in aligning our product data architecture with business objectives, ensuring that product information serves as a powerful, predictive tool across various platforms, including our website, SEO, retail PIM syndication, internal tools, and third-party solutions. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking leader with expertise in data governance, data architecture, and strategic data configuration.

Strategic Data Leadership: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of a robust product data strategy that aligns with business goals and enables seamless data flow across all systems, including website, SEO, retail syndication, internal tools (e.g., assembly and spec tools), and third-party platforms (e.g., Showpad).

Commercial Data Excellence: Leverage data analytics to gain insights into market trends and customer behavior, enabling tailored product positioning and enhancing the commercial impact of product data. Ensure that data is utilized to support strategic decision-making and collaboration across sales, marketing, and product teams for improved marketing effectiveness and revenue growth.

Data Governance & Compliance: Establish, drive implementation of, and oversee data governance policies, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards, systems, policies, and regulations.

Data Architecture Optimization: Design and maintain data architecture and formats that support flexible syndication and agile data use across all platforms, ensuring data is positioned to optimize sales, marketing, and customer experience.

System Integration & Configuration: Oversee the configuration of product data to support sales of systems and solutions, ensuring smooth data flow to all downstream systems and third-party platforms.

Sustainability Data Management: Drive strategies for the effective use of sustainability data, ensuring alignment with industry standards (e.g., Common Materials Framework, Ecomedes) and enhancing product positioning for sustainable solutions.

Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain processes for data validation, cleansing, and optimization, ensuring data is always accurate, current, and fit for purpose.

Leadership & Influence: Act as a thought leader in product data management, driving innovative strategies, mentoring team members, and influencing stakeholders across the organization.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, Data Systems, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in the required field.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in product data management, data architecture, or related field, with a focus on optimizing data for multi-platform distribution.
  • Deep understanding of data governance, data architecture, and product data management best practices.
  • Proven experience working with systems like PIM, CMS, SEO platforms, and third-party tools like Showpad.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability data management, such as Common Materials Framework and Ecomedes. Strong knowledge of commercial building and construction data.

However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $124,300 to $198,800. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

  • Work closely with business units, IT, and data stewards to align master data practices with organizational goals and ensure seamless data integration across systems
  • Lead and mentor a team of managers, analysts and master data specialists providing guidance, setting performance goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Manage relationship with offshore service provider and other external vendors supporting related processes to ensure adherence to critical service levels

Job Duties

  • Work safely, ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed;

  • Assist Logistics Coordinator in all administrative functions of the job;

  • Liaise with the fleet tracking software provider regarding the onboard truck systems and address any issues that may be identified;
  • Arrange all paperwork for the evening loading shift;
  • Inform the Inventory Control team when returned material has come back on the trucks;
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Technical Operator will be responsible for successfully operating equipment, evaluating samples, and compiling information and reports. The list of duties includes, but is not limited to:

SAFETY

SUPPORT PLANT OPERATIONS

  • Daily operations include, but aren’t limited to, safety, quality, housekeeping, operations, maintenance, material handling, and inventory management.

Job Details:

• Following all safety rules and rules as established in the employee handbook

• Follow standard operating procedures

• Set up line following established equipment settings

• May assist operators with changeovers, set-ups, adjustments, and/or shutdowns

• Fills out maintenance work orders and assists Maintenance Technicians as needed

• Maintains quality of the product on the production line by ensuring product standards are being followed

• Continually monitors product to detect and resolve issues utilizing WCM tools

• Tracks and/or fills out metrics required to accurately close out production work orders

• Aids in minimizing/elimination of process wastes- Transportation, Inventory, Motion, Waiting (Product or Resources), Over-processing, Overproduction, and Defects using WCM tools

• Maintains good housekeeping as established by Operator Duty Sheets and identifies gaps and areas for improvement

• Performs Autonomous Maintenance (CIT clean/lube, inspect, and tighten) on production equipment

• Operates forklift as needed

• Maintains tools and equipment in good working condition

Essential Functions

  • Corrective & Preventative Maintenance:
    • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
    • Daily inspections for facility and production equipment and systems.
    • Document all maintenance activities and file all records in the CMMS system.
  • Detect malfunctions, repair, inspect and test machinery / equipment: for safety or unsafe conditions. Discuss the machine operation variations with supervisors and operators; diagnose problems and repairs; increase efficiency of machines; bring equipment and environment within SG safety guidelines.
  • Maintains 5S on tools, spare parts inventory, and work area.
  • Ensures adequate spare parts inventory; places orders on tools/spare parts as necessary, with manager approval.
  • Ensure all work orders are closed and follow-up to improve reliability effectiveness
  • Secures facilities and equipment in case of emergency or crisis situation.
  • Responsible for the repair and maintenance of facility and grounds in regard to safety and compliance whether city, state, federal, or Saint-Gobain requirements.
  • Perform other duties as directed or required.
