CertainTeed is seeking a Technical Services & Sales Representative with a strong focus on Commercial Roofing to provide a full range of field technical support within the southern region. This candidate will help CertainTeed build better customer understanding and use of our products, reduced liability, stronger customer relations, and the reinforcement of the company’s “expert” image in the market. Field Training & Application

• Deliver product application training
• Support and help implement contractor programs
• Provide technical guidance to distribution field sales teams and contractors

• Conduct research with customers, dealers, and applicators to identify needs and improve product offerings

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

• 2-4 Years of experience in Commercial Roofing. Prior experience with injection solutions, a plus.
• Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: field trials during product development, introduction of new products, troubleshooting field problems, and technical support activities.
• Strong ability to communicate technical information effectively to contractors, sales teams, and customers

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 20% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $84,000 to $129,600. Required Qualifications

BS Degree with a minimum of 15+ years’ experience, or MS with 10+ years of experience, or PhD with 6+ years of experience in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or other related disciplines where technical judgement/accomplishments are demonstrated.

• 6+ years of firsthand experience with formulation and process development in an industrial or research setting.
  • Must have practical and theoretical knowledge of polymer and composite materials – including formulation and structure-property relationships, performing standard material characterization and product tests, and interpreting the data and developing new tests.
• Experience with industrial product and process development (minimum 6 years).
• Experience with characterization and testing of polymeric materials (thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers), composites, and adhesives & sealants, using a range of techniques, including thermal analysis (DSC, DMA, TGA), mechanical testing (tensile), imaging (SEM), spectroscopy (FTIR, NMR), and rheology.
• Proven ability to champion efforts to drive HSE and environmental consciousness and lab safety.
• Proven ability to think critically, learn and iterate quickly, strategize and organize tasks autonomously on assigned projects, and establish viable technical paths forward.

The Extrusion Operator will safely operate extrusion machines, feeding raw material into machine to create medical-grade tubing and profiles, per detailed drawings, attribute specifications, and routing notes. Must perform dimensional inspections to ensure product is extruded in accordance with the provided specifications using micrometers, calipers, tape measure, pi tape, optical comparator, and other measuring tools. Saint-Gobain is seeking a skilled team player to join our dynamic Maintenance group in Hoosick Falls, New York. The Instrumentation &; Controls Technician is primarily responsible for the maintenance and repair of the production equipment to ensure minimal production down-time and a safe work environment.

Candidate should be able to install, setup and troubleshoot temperature, speed, weight, pressure, flow and thickness sensing instrumentation. Able to monitor and troubleshoot controls using programmable logic controllers. Set up and tune loop controllers and PID loops. Maintenance and repair of electrical industrial control systems. Production equipment includes; material handling, bulk chemical systems, batch mixing, web coaters, extruding, converting and packaging equipment.

The Instrumentation &; Controls Technician is also responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of the facilities equipment such as: HVAC, boilers, chillers, compressors, pumps, motors, pollution control equipment, life safety, electrical power distribution, network, hoists, docks and automated doors.

The position requires scheduled shift work, weekend work and emergency call-ins during off shifts to support production. The Technician will report into the Maintenance Supervisor.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

We seek candidates with the following knowledge, skills & abilities:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent in industrial, electrical, electronic or instrumentation technologies preferred - will consider those with HS Diploma or GED along with a minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance
• Experience in troubleshooting PLC based control systems (Rockwell Software preferred)
• Experience with analog temperature, pressure flow, speed and weight measurement
• Experience with discrete sensors
• Experience with process loop calibration and equipment
• Experience with industrial control networks such as MODBUS, BACnet, TCP/IP
• Experience with motor controls and VFDs
• Working knowledge of major systems including HVAC, electrical controls, plumbing, lighting, docks, overhead/sliding doors and life safety
• Experience using electrical test equipment
• Proven ability to work independently, be solution-oriented, adapt well to change, work accurately with detail and communicate effectively

We are hiring an Electroplating Technician to join our team in Orange.

The role will be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient operation, strict record keeping of the electroplating process, and quality products following established work procedures.

The successful candidate will have proven math abilities, trouble-shooting and time management abilities. The role requires experience of working safely with a variety of chemical materials.

Responsibilities include:

• Follow established work procedures set for rack and barrel electroplating.
• Monitor parts throughout the plating cycle and produce and maintain a high level of quality parts to specification.
• Maintain documentation as needed including but not limited to lot codes and daily production reports.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform process and tank maintenance
• Troubleshooting of solutions and defects.
• Perform scheduled analysis on plating solutions.
• Addition and making up of plating solution chemistry.
• Handling of hazardous waste.
• Communicate with other departments and personnel in a team environment.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to increase productivity and/or to produce a higher quality product.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Qualifications and Requirements:

• • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent – Required
  • Associates Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or similar discipline - Preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years Electroplating experience - Knowledge of electroplating theory and chemistry - Required
  • Experience with RCRA and DOT certification - Preferred
  • High level of technical, mechanical, math ability and computer skills - Required
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and external vendors and suppliers - Required
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities / projects simultaneously - Required
  • Able to speak and understand technical language - Required.
  • Experience in visual inspection a plus.
  • Practical experience and comfort operating and troubleshooting mechanical equipment - Required
