Essentials of Sales Development Program - Associate Territory Manager

Today is an exciting time to be in Sales. The Essentials of Sales (EOS) Associate Territory Manager (ATM) will be responsible for establishing contact and coordinating activities with distributors, installation contractors, builders, architects, and specifiers. The Associate Territory Manager will also assist the Regional/District Sales Manager and Territory Managers in meeting sales goals while familiarizing the remodeling and new construction community with CertainTeed products and services. Additionally, this individual will become a resource of information for sales, marketing, and manufacturing in product needs, development, and application. This ATM position will be based in the Tulsa, OK market.

Salary: 60,000

Hours: 8-5pm Monday-Friday, weekends as needed for events

Program Summary:

Our 18-month program provides participants a full-time sales development role, where participants will increase their sales skills and their exposure to CertainTeed. Participants are provided with time in the field, hands on learning, and full access to Exterior Product Sales (EPS) leaders for networking opportunities designed to accelerate career development. These trainings and travel opportunities are a requirement for program completion and full participation should be given, except for extenuating circumstances. EOS Associate Territory Manager will support CertainTeed businesses in building strong relationships and portfolios of loyal customers through the development of new and existing customers. They will proactively promote CertainTeed products, systems, and programs. They will gain a knowledge base of all CertainTeed products, systems, programs, and promotions used to sell and promote the brand to potential customers throughout the U.S. Representatives will also be expected to collaborate with the managers and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are constantly being met.

Development Program Completion

Upon the successful completion of the program, the EOS Associate Territory Manager will work with HR, the Sales Training Manager, and Sales Leadership to explore available opportunities within one of our 12 sales regions in the U.S. for a Territory Manager role, or other roles within Saint-Gobain. Those not able to find another role at the end of a successful completion of the program may qualify for a completion bonus if eligibility requirements are met.

  • BA/BS Degree required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a sales or consultative selling position.
  • Must have proven planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • A flexibility for travel or relocation.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $57,100 to $85,600 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $ $62,810 to $ $94,160. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

We are seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician for the Seven Hill-Lynchburg paper mill facility. The E&I Technician will support the manufacturing of gypsum liner paper by providing quality maintenance duties to enhance the mill’s equipment reliability and availability. The E&I Technician will utilize their skills and knowledge of electrical equipment, electronics, instrumentation, pneumatics, hydraulics, and rigging in our continuous paper manufacturing environment to safely help achieve production goals.

Job Duties:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace electrical, electronic, and instrumentation devices.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to troubleshoot and maintain process control systems.
  • Initiate and complete work orders and document all critical and or pertinent information on a routine basis.

What you need to succeed:

  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mill-wide electrical power systems, working with AC and DC voltages ranging from 12, 24, and 500 VDC to 120/240, 480, 575, 2300, and AC.
  • Install and maintain electrical distribution equipment and components, working with electrical conductors, conduits, cable trays, power panels, and motor control centers.
  • Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, solenoids, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3-phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems
  • Ability to install and set up both A/C drives.
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot basic 3-phase motor control circuits
  • Knowledge of the various types of flow, pressure, level, temperature sensors, and transmitters.
  • Working knowledge of control valves.
  • Various proximity, flow, pressure, and limit switches.
  • A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and instrumentation drawings.

  • A High School Diploma / GED is required.
  • 5+ years of Instrumentation and Electrical experience in a production maintenance environment or equivalent military experience is required.
  • Journeyman or proof of completion of related college or apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Capable of meeting physical requirements to include working weekends/holidays, working a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed, and working around heat, and noise, both inside and outside.
  • Computer skills including MS Office and ability to quickly learn new software used in the department.

What’s the job?

The Reliability Engineer provides leadership to the Maintenance Department by overseeing the development of technical maintenance systems and assisting in the training and development of team members.

In partnership with the Maintenance manager, the Reliability Engineer is the Reliability Pillar Leader and is responsible for improving plant up time, asset utilization, efficiency and capability by implementing proven professional maintenance and reliability-centered improvement processes. This individual ensures preventative, proactive and reactive maintenance support for all plant customers and is responsible for developing the department budget with the Maintenance Manager.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To be the champion of reliability centered maintenance activities, utilizing the professional maintenance world class manufacturing (WCM) techniques in driving equipment reliabilities to the highest possible levels.
  • Ensure key performance indicators are captured and reported for equipment reliability, planning and scheduling business flow All performance measures are tracking on the reliability pillar board.
  • Responsible for machine inspections, establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs, Upkeep and accuracy of equipment maintenance history and jobs record database (vibration analyses, oil analysis, and thermal imaging, etc.).
  • Review Predictive Maintenance work orders generated from the Preventative Maintenance program, prioritize, and schedule accordingly. Collaborate with maintenance supervisor to schedule manpower resources for the most effective production and maintenance
  • Analyze Maintenance Key Performance Indicators to assist in finding opportunities for
  • Develop cost and time estimates of Reliability planned maintenance work and implement maintenance cost improvement concepts.
  • Assists with the Computerized Maintenance Management System up-keep, accuracy, & improvements of equipment maintenance history and job records database.
  • Subject Matter Expert for Predictive Maintenance Programs including Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, Oil Sample & Analysis, PdMA Motor Testing and Lubrication.

Maintenance Electrician

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day preventive maintenance tasks and repair of electrical power and electronic equipment, troubleshooting, instrumentation calibration, PLC programming, and assisting with any mechanical repairs. Will possess a thorough understanding and hands-on experience with electrical & electronic maintenance principles.   • Troubleshoot PLCs, modify or create programs, and spec new PLCs if replacement is necessary.
  • Must have a solid ability to solve machine operation problems using a skill set of deductive reasoning, and electric test meters.

PLC Reliability Responsibilities

  • Perform daily activities needed to support and comply with requirements surrounding plant maintenance activities.
  • Be on call in a rotation with the other day shift electricians.
  • Testing electrical systems and equipment using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Rebuild components to be used on the equipment in the plant along with reading and interpreting blueprints and layout instructions and having knowledge/understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic theory. Must be able to read and understand blueprints schematics and wire control panels.
  • Must be able to write and/or modify PLC programs.
  • Will assist line mechanics and electricians as necessary when needed to support production including all of the above listed tasks and other means of support as needed.
  • Will participate in training to continue to enhance PLC skills
  • Follow all safety precautions while performing tasks at all times
  • All areas are to be clean and clear of any debris before/after maintenance days and holidays.

Principal R&D Structural Engineer - CertainTeed Platforms

CertainTeed is looking for a licensed Structural Engineer (PE) to join our CT Platforms R&D team. In this role, you will help design and analyze prefabricated buildings and systems, as well as develop and launch new products and processes to improve the sustainability, performance, and appeal of residential and occasionally non-residential buildings.

The Principal R&D Structural Engineer is part of a multi-disciplinary team of experts in building physics, engineering, materials science, industrial design, and architecture that focuses on early-stage development of new system-based solutions for the building industry. This is accomplished through product and process research and development, specializing in new markets, advanced materials, and new construction techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Design, evaluate, and improve upon residential building structural systems.
  • Leading the design and building of both small- and large-scale prototypes of new building products, systems, and processes to show to both internal and external customers for feedback to iterate on solutions. Knowing that innovation is an iterative process, you will need to stay open-minded about what the right product is, seeking to learn as much from what does not work as from what does.
