Relevant du Gestionnaire de maintenance, la personne sera responsable de la planification de maintenance préventive ainsi que de la planification des arrêts planifiés (shut-down) pour l’exécution des travaux d’entretien, de réparation, et des modifications.

Description du poste

  • Planifier, préparer, modifier et programmer les tâches de maintenance préventive dans SAP Maintenance de façon à respecter les dates pour atteindre la conformité;
  • Animer les rencontres de coordination avec les ingénieurs, les superviseurs de maintenance et de la production afin de préparer et coordonner tous les arrêts planifiés, incluant l’arrêt majeur une fois par année;
  • Travailler étroitement avec les superviseurs et les ingénieurs de façon à fermer la planification régulière;
  • Planifier les ressources nécessaires (main d’œuvre, pièces, machinerie spéciale etc…);
  • Faire les réquisitions d’achat pour les pièces, ressources et services de maintenance;
  • Être responsable des processus de mise en bac et des réparables;
  • Codifier dans SAP Maintenance les pièces de rechange essentielles;
  • Faire le suivi auprès des fournisseurs pour les demandes de prix;
  • S’assurer de capturer les améliorations possibles et la bonne mise à jour des plans d’entretien dans SAP Maintenance;
  • Participer à la rédaction des procédures de maintenance;
  • S’assurer que les indicateurs de performance du département sont capturés et préparés;
  • Représenter le site de LaSalle au sein du comité de partage des bonnes pratiques planification;
  • Créer et suivre les bons de travail du département;
  • Préparer les documents et pièces nécessaire aux interventions (dossiers d’équipements, fiches d’intervention);
  • Toutes autres tâches en lien avec l’emploi pourront être demandées.

LES REQUIS

  • Diplôme d'études postsecondaires, de préférence un diplôme en technologie de l'ingénierie ou une formation dans un métier technique;
  • Minimum de 3 années d'expérience comme planificateur de maintenance dans un environnement manufacturier;
  • Très bonne connaissance pratique du logiciel SAP Maintenance;
  • Expérience dans un environnement de travail syndiqué (atout);
  • Expérience avec les processus d’amélioration continue;
  • Maîtrise des programmes Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Bonnes connaissances et aptitudes en électricité, en mécanique, en procédé et en bâtiment dans une entreprise manufacturière;
  • Connaissance en pétrochimie (atout);
  • Capacité à fournir une vue globale de la planification à nos clients internes et à entrevoir les enjeux et/ou futurs problématiques;
  • Proactif, travail d’équipe, agit de façon entrepreneuriale, attentif aux détails, orienté client et orienté plancher (usine);
  • Les travailleurs doivent prendre les mesures nécessaires pour protéger leur santé, leur sécurité et leur intégrité physique et celle de leurs collègues. Ils doivent entre autres :

Le poste nécessite de passer beaucoup de temps sur le plancher de l'usine. Les tâches incluent marcher, se pencher, tourner, serrer, monter des marches et des échelles et entrer dans des espaces restreints. The Tool and Die Maker - Sets up and operate a variety of computer-controlled and mechanically controlled machines, manufacture tools to produce precision metal carbide HSS and plastic parts, fixtures, gauges and die components.

  • Read blueprints, sketches, specifications, or CAD and CAM files for making tools and dies.
  • Create and design all components in a CAD file using SOLID works or Auto cad.
  • Compute and verify dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of work pieces.
  • Understand all GD&;T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances).
  • Set up, operate, and operate conventional machines, Lathes, Mills Grinders and CNC machines.
  • Familiar with EDM, Sinker machines and Wire drills.
  • File, grind, and adjust parts so that they fit together properly
  • Test completed tools and dies to ensure that they meet specifications
  • Smooth and polish the surfaces of tools and dies.
  • Design templates and jigs to be used as work aids for convenient fabrication of products and parts.
  • Single point threads various types.
  • Ability to manufacture parts with verbal instructions.
  • Grind tool to detail drawing.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Metallizing Operator I - 3rd Shift (Sun - Thurs 10:30 pm - 7 am) - San Diego, CA 

Job Goals:

Assist in the set-up, run, and monitor any one of the metallizing machines. Ensures machine is producing a quality product in a timely fashion.

Essential Responsibilities of the Position (includes the following; other responsibilities may be assigned):

  1. Assists in the set-up, run, monitor, troubleshoot, and repair (as required) of any one of the Metallizers.
  2. Performs and ensures quality inspections of raw and metallized film.
  3. Prepares and ensures production and department documents such as roll tickets, run log, maintenance log, utilization sheets, and sample work-up sheets are complete and accurate.
  4. Follows standard operating procedures, set-up specifications, supervisor’s instructions and housekeeping policies.
  5. Operates a forklift and/or pallet jack to move product.
  6. Acts in a safe manner at all times. Follows all company policies and procedures as they relate to safety reporting. Reports all safety incidents or hazards immediately upon occurrence.

Non-Essential Responsibilities of the Position:

  1. Records preventive maintenance.
  2. Communicates with other plant personnel and supervisors regarding production issues.
  3. Informs Supervisor of any parts or supplies needed.
  4. Performs other duties as assigned and necessary.

Essential Requirements for the Position:

  1. High school diploma or GED required. One or two years of college or four-year military service preferred.
  2. Good mechanical ability, logical trouble-shooting skills and attention to detail.
  3. Basic math skills and computer skills required.
  4. Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  5. Prior experience operating a forklift strongly preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment also desired.

Nature and Scope of Role:

  • Manufactures close tolerance plastic parts by setting up and operating an injection molding machine, while maintaining high safety standards, equipment, and all quality documentation.

  • Inspects product actual dimensions per drawings.

  • Maintains 5S work space before, during, and after each scheduled shift.

Essential Functions:

  • Reads blueprint drawings and work orders to understand and meet customer specifications.
  • Produces parts by following the work orders, blueprints, and programming folders.
  • Sets up molds for each work cell and maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements following manufacturer's instructions.
  • Maintains drawing specifications by observing process temperatures and injection pressures to detect non-conformances.
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.
  • Calculates dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, and optical comparator.
  • Informs supervisors and team leads when machinery needs repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all company EH&S policies and procedures
  • Maintains work space before, during, and after each scheduled shift in accordance with 5S principles.
  • Contribute to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
  • Work in a manner that complies with all site policies and procedures, and actively demonstrates SG principles of conduct & action.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Required Skills & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED certificate.

• Ability to read, understand and follow written materials including blueprint drawings, job orders, etc.

• 5+ years experience in injection molding plastics processing.

• 5+ years prior experience in set-up and operation of injection molds and auxiliary equipment.

• Experience using inspection equipment and following quality procedures.

The Multi-site Plant Manager will lead all aspects of continuous improvement at Saint-Gobain Life Sciences' manufacturing locations in Clearwater and Largo FL, along with a separate warehouse location. Both are multi-product operation that services multiple business unites within Life Sciences.

Will manage the manufacturing facilities to achieve operations goals and objectives regarding plant safety, profitability, capital investment, cost reduction programs, operations planning, and maintaining employee engagement and a positive employee relations culture.

The Plant Manager holds the leading responsibility for the plant facilities and its operations. Managers of the Engineering, Materials Management, World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Finance, Quality, Human Resources and HSE functions report directly to the Plant Manager, while the plant manager also leads the Production team. Plus indirect leadership/advisement of Customer Service, R&D & Marketing / Product Support provided in support of these locations.

Key Accountabilities:

Planning and Operations:strong> Manage, direct and coordinate all operations directly related to production and shipment of all products produced by the facilities: Materials Management, Manufacturing and Manufacturing Systems, Facilities Engineering/Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Shipping and Receiving, Process Engineering, Purchasing. Manage, direct and coordinate Plant staff (Human Resources and Finance) functions. Prepare operational plans and budgets, and report to appropriate Management on actual performance vs. those plans.

Personnel Development: Design and administer effective Human Resources programs to equip employees to achieve business goals and to foster career development and organizational succession plans. Establish a succession plan within the facilities for key positions for plant operations.

Technology Leadership: Identify inefficiencies in plant operations and drive systematic cost improvement and state-of-the-art processing through WCM program. Prepare and submit CAPEX projects to support the efficiency improvements.

Safety and Communications: Ensure that the facilities are operating safely and in full environmental compliance. Serve as principal facility communications liaison with other FLS, Company, and external contacts.

Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree; Required - within Materials, Manufacturing, Chemical Or Mechanical Engineering; Preferred.

Master's Degree - within Business or Technical Related Field; Preferred.

7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, within operations, management and people development; Required.

Experience with managing remotely / across multiple sites; Required.

A proven ability to foster and establish effective working relationships with management team, employees, and key corporate contacts will be critical to facilitating changes necessary to support overall process improvements; Required.

Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining inventory and facilitating shipping needs for all products and materials to include issuing materials to manufacturing (kitting components) for orders to be completed prior to shipping; for our manufacturing facilities in Clearwater and Largo Florida for Saint-Gobain Life Sciences.

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Essential Functions

  • Store materials using assigned protocols with correct equipment.
  • Perform inventory transactions in QAD
  • Recommend measures to improve methods and quality of product.
  • Suggest changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems, or assess workers in solving work problems.
  • Initiate and support housekeeping and safety activities within the facility daily.
  • Communicate with the other shifts the status of parts, equipment and any other matters that potentially impact the product being shipped.
  • Coordinate department's activities with other departments.
  • Verify/reconcile all forms and paperwork as needed, including manufacturing forms, work order documentation, stock movement tickets, scrap tickets, identifications tag, QA forms via electronic document storage, etc.
  • Schedule trucks for delivery and pick up of product as required for on-time expediting.
  • Be proactive in assuring all shipments are shipped on time.
  • Communicate and assist in resolving any issues that affect shipments whether current or in the future.
  • Load and/or unload trucks. Subject to driving company vehicle(s) as required.
  • Research and audit inventory by conducting daily cycle counts.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions. Must be able to properly fill out time reporting and work order documentation. Operational knowledge of injection molding machines is preferred. Operational knowledge of compounders, and related equipment preferred. Must become forklift certified.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires walking, primarily on a level surface throughout the day. May need to climb stairs/steps periodically. May need to stoop or kneel and reach above shoulder heights, below the waist. Lifting as required with proper lifting techniques up to 50 pounds on occasion.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is in a production environment where the use of personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, safety glasses, and safety shoes are mandated. Noise levels are generally loud and temperatures may vary. There is some exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals, depending on areas accessed.

Production Supervisor

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The shift supervisor is responsible for supporting a safe working environment in area of responsibility at all times including correcting or reporting unsafe acts or conditions through appropriate channels of resolution. BENEFITS IN JOINING US

Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics Required

License/ Certification

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt; SPC; Kaizen; Root Cause Analysis (Preferred)
  • OSHA Certification 30 Hour (Preferred)

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years of Manufacturing/ Warehouse (Required)
  • 5+ Supervisory Experience (Required)
  • 2-5 Years of Customer Service (Preferred)

We believe in the importance of pay transparency and what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position, which is $79,500 to $123,500 Per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $87,400 to $135,800. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
