Position:

We're hiring Forming Machine Operators for the 3rd shift (11 PM - 7:30 AM). Training will be on the 1st shift (7 AM - 3:30 PM) for approximately three months.

This position is responsible to set up and run department equipment to form finished bearings and bushings.

  • Operates up to 3 machines simultaneously according to standard operating procedures, or special instruction from supervisor.
  • Clears machine jams, makes adjustments as needed.
  • Performs SPC checks and procedures.
  • Monitors and updates status of work orders.
  • Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency and safety.
  • Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work area as scheduled or as needed.
  • Maintain necessary records as required by SOPs and work instructions.
  • Visually observe, troubleshoot, and report non-conformance condition (either product or process) to supervisor, or manager as required.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machines and replace parts as required.
  • Monitor quality of product through 1st piece and final inspection as required.
  • Perform other related duties as required or as directed by supervisor.
  • Exhibits safety awareness and safe work practices.
  • Understand all environmental policies and significant environmental impact of job activities in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • High school diploma or equivalent, REQUIRED
  • Able to operate independently and as part of a team

  • Able to read and follow SOPs, labels and instructions and blueprints.

Industrial Electrician

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining efficient operation of various drives as well as calibrating instrumentation controls throughout the manufacturing production lines.
  • Responsibility to provide support to plant staff engineers in all projects in the areas of design, installation, documentation, and training, and additional employees with various projects.
  • Implement smaller projects as requested from maintenance work orders, the process and safety teams, along with departmental suggestions.
  • Understand the statistical process control (SPC), know the product line and manufacturing standards, follow verbal and written instructions.

    • 2+ Years’ Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Required

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    • Must demonstrate core competencies of effective communications, listening, and have strong organizational skills.
    • Must understand purchasing procedures and MRO parts distribution, be computer literate, and have the knowledge of computerized maintenance systems, or possess the ability to learn.
    • Must be comfortable with physical aspects of the plant’s environment; i.e., working with various byproducts of raw materials used in the operation.
    • Minimum time requirements of 1-year Electrician II and 12 months free of any written disciplinary (requirement for bid job procedure)

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $79,500 to $123,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $87,400 to $ $135,800. Research Infrastructure Support Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Research Infrastructure Support Specialist position is responsible for maintaining and supporting the information systems infrastructure of our R&D laboratory. This position will be responsible for working closely with the SGRNA IT Manager, ITSNA group and local research teams to ensure that the network, computer, and analytical test equipment function seamlessly.

This job requires the ability to troubleshoot a variety of computer connected systems, and work closely with outside OEMs to troubleshoot both existing and new computer-based equipment. The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support, manage, develop, implement, and troubleshoot all site data rooms and local laboratory computer resources.
  • Provide technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and networks; also work as a liaison between the central IT organizations and the R&D teams.
  • Create, maintain, and delete Active Directory user accounts and related security groups. Maintain local industrial VM servers and ensure systems are patched and maintained per Saint-Gobain security requirements.
  • Work with equipment vendors and laboratory stakeholders to diagnose and resolve IT system issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of services.
  • Provide backup and recovery services for laboratory computer-based systems.
  • Assist laboratory owners with computer system specification and implementation while ensuring corporate standard and cybersecurity is maintained. Ensure that the projects have required security documentation prior to implementation and that all cybersecurity procedures and guidelines are followed.
  • Ensure projects move forward by interfacing with the central IT organization and navigating delay on behalf of R&D team members.
  • Maintain logs of support requests and document resolutions for future reference. Document laboratory computer and network systems to ensure support coverage can be maintained.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 5-plus years of related field experience or High School Diploma with proven experience as a Tech Support in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and information technology
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems Windows 7 and above and large corporate Active Directory environments.
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
  • Strong understanding of Office 365 applications with emphasis on Excel skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues particularly with non-standard devices used in the research or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell as well as basic Linux administration with RedHat preferred.
  • Knowledge of backup software and disaster recovery procedures for desktops and servers.

NICE TO HAVE

  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or similar are a plus.
  • Certification or equivalent experience in one or more technologies: switching/routing/firewalls.

The Essentials of Sales (EOS) Associate Territory Manager (ATM) will be responsible for establishing contact and coordinating activities with distributors, installation contractors, builders, architects, and specifiers. Program Summary:

Our 18-month program provides participants a full-time sales development role, where participants will increase their sales skills and their exposure to CertainTeed. Participants are provided with time in the field, hands on learning, and full access to Exterior Product Sales (EPS) leaders for networking opportunities designed to accelerate career development. These trainings and travel opportunities are a requirement for program completion and full participation should be given, except for extenuating circumstances. EOS Associate Territory Manager will support CertainTeed businesses in building strong relationships and portfolios of loyal customers through the development of new and existing customers. They will proactively promote CertainTeed products, systems, and programs. They will gain a knowledge base of all CertainTeed products, systems, programs, and promotions used to sell and promote the brand to potential customers throughout the U.S. Representatives will also be expected to collaborate with the managers and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are constantly being met.

Development Program Completion

Upon the successful completion of the program, the EOS Associate Territory Manager will work with HR, the Sales Training Manager, and Sales Leadership to explore available opportunities within one of our 12 sales regions in the U.S. for a Territory Manager role, or other roles within Saint-Gobain. Those not able to find another role at the end of a successful completion of the program may qualify for a completion bonus if eligibility requirements are met.

Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

We are seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician for the Seven Hill-Lynchburg paper mill facility. The E&I Technician will support the manufacturing of gypsum liner paper by providing quality maintenance duties to enhance the mill’s equipment reliability and availability. The E&I Technician will utilize their skills and knowledge of electrical equipment, electronics, instrumentation, pneumatics, hydraulics, and rigging in our continuous paper manufacturing environment to safely help achieve production goals.

Job Duties:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace electrical, electronic, and instrumentation devices.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to troubleshoot and maintain process control systems.
  • Initiate and complete work orders and document all critical and or pertinent information on a routine basis.

What you need to succeed:

  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mill-wide electrical power systems, working with AC and DC voltages ranging from 12, 24, and 500 VDC to 120/240, 480, 575, 2300, and AC.
  • Install and maintain electrical distribution equipment and components, working with electrical conductors, conduits, cable trays, power panels, and motor control centers.
  • Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, solenoids, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3-phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems
  • Ability to install and set up both A/C drives.
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot basic 3-phase motor control circuits
  • Knowledge of the various types of flow, pressure, level, temperature sensors, and transmitters.

The Reliability Engineer provides leadership to the Maintenance Department by overseeing the development of technical maintenance systems and assisting in the training and development of team members.

  • To be the champion of reliability centered maintenance activities, utilizing the professional maintenance world class manufacturing (WCM) techniques in driving equipment reliabilities to the highest possible levels.
  • Ensure key performance indicators are captured and reported for equipment reliability, planning and scheduling business flow All performance measures are tracking on the reliability pillar board.
  • Responsible for machine inspections, establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs, Upkeep and accuracy of equipment maintenance history and jobs record database (vibration analyses, oil analysis, and thermal imaging, etc.).
  • Review Predictive Maintenance work orders generated from the Preventative Maintenance program, prioritize, and schedule accordingly. Collaborate with maintenance supervisor to schedule manpower resources for the most effective production and maintenance
  • Analyze Maintenance Key Performance Indicators to assist in finding opportunities for
  • Develop cost and time estimates of Reliability planned maintenance work and implement maintenance cost improvement concepts.
