In the framework of Saint-Gobain’s commitment to operational excellence, digital transformation, and customer-centricity, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading and executing the end-to-end supply chain strategy at the Garden Grove manufacturing facility of Omniseal Solutions. This role is critical in ensuring seamless integration of supply chain functions—from demand planning, procurement, and production planning to inventory control, logistics, and customer service—while aligning with corporate objectives and site-level performance goals.

The Supply Chain Manager serves as a key member of the site leadership team, driving improvements in service levels, inventory turns, working capital, and on-time delivery through data-driven decision-making, robust planning processes, and cross-functional collaboration. This includes overseeing a team of direct and indirect reports across logistics, planning, and customer service, while also acting as the subject matter expert on ERP (QAD) systems, supporting standardization, data governance, and change management initiatives.

The role demands strategic foresight to develop and implement long-term supply chain plans that support business growth, cost optimization, and agility in a high-mix, low-volume production environment serving aerospace and industrial markets. In collaboration with corporate teams, suppliers, and key customers, the Supply Chain Manager proactively identifies risks, mitigates supply disruptions, improves material flow, and ensures compliance with trade regulations and quality standards such as ISO9001 and AS9100.

This position is also responsible for embedding lean manufacturing and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles into supply chain operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability, and acting as the voice of the customer in driving site priorities. The incumbent must be able to influence across functions, lead change, and align the team around shared objectives that deliver measurable business impact.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $102,000 to $158,000 annually, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount up to 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $115,260 to $178,540. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Description de poste

La personne sera responsable de préparer et charger les commandes pour la livraison  à l’aide de chariot élévateurs. Cela implique également de vérifier tous les envois sortants.

La personne doit choisir correctement les matériaux commandés, conformément aux  commande et les préparer pour le chargement. Le titulaire du poste est également responsable de l'utilisation sécuritaire des chariots élévateurs et du respect des règles en matière de santé et de sécurité. La personne est responsable de l'atteinte des objectifs quotidiens fixés par le superviseur.

Responsabilités :

Les responsabilités et les obligations du poste comprennent, sans s'y limiter :

  • Préparer les commandes et assembler les palettes;
  • Vérifier les quantités et le type de produits à placer dans les palettes selon le bon de commande.
  • Écrire ou imprimer les étiquettes et informations sur les palettes aux exigences du client et aux normes de contrôle de la qualité.
  • Effectuer des inspections quotidiennes des chariots élévateurs.
  • Utilisez l'équipement et les outils fournis en toute sécurité.
  • Communiquez avec le répartiteur, le superviseur et le chauffeur pour comprendre les exigences de chargement et charger de manière sécuritaire, complète et précise.
  • Vérifiez auprès du conducteur, après le chargement, tous les documents nécessaires et la sécurité du chargement.
  • Être courtois envers les camionneurs et les autres travailleurs.
  • Participer à tous les types de formations (travail, qualité et sécurité) organisées par l'entreprise.
  • Participer à l'inventaire trimestriel de l'entreprise.
  • Signaler les non-conformités en matière de sécurité et les problèmes de qualité.
  • Exécuter toutes autres tâches connexes exigés par le superviseur ou la direction.

CE TRAVAIL VOUS CONVIENT-IL?

  • Carte de cariste valides
  • 2 à 3 ans d'expérience en conduite de chariot élévateur de type : Contrebalancé au propane (assis).
  • Expérience en entrepôt.
  • Une bonne connaissance des procédures de sécurité des chariots élévateurs est essentielle.
  • Connaissance de l'équipement et des outils tels que la station de ravitaillement en gaz naturel, la scie rotative et le ruban à mesurer
  • Faire preuve d'éthique, d'ouverture d'esprit, être observateur, apprendre rapidement, avoir un bon esprit d'équipe, de l' initiative et la capacité à respecter les délais.

 

Conditions de travail :

  • Environnement de fabrication au rythme rapide.
  • Capable de soulever physiquement des matériaux jusqu'à 50 livres.
  • Capacité à faire des heures supplémentaires au besoin.

Ottawa Insulation Plant

Acquired by CertainTeed in 2009, formerly Ottawa Fibre Inc.  The Ottawa plant manufactures fibre glass insulation in soft batts (with and without Kraft paper, commercial batt rolls, board insulation and blowing wool products).  The plant operates 24/7 365 days of the year and has a unionized workforce under the Unifor Union.  Wages are set by the Collective Agreement and currently range from $22.82 to $42.36 per hour.  Included for full time employees is an attractive Sun Life Benefit package (Medical & Dental), issued uniforms, boot allowances and a generous vacation entitlement.
