WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Under the supervision of the Service Center Supervisor located in Malvern, PA (this is not a remote position) or Manager the Customer Account Specialist-2 is accountable for establishing a strong customer relationship based on trust and responsiveness to deliver World Class Service to the incumbents’ customer base. The CAS will accurately process customer orders in an efficient manner to ensure we exceed our customers’ expectations. Additionally, the CAS-2 will manage multi-part customer complaints/concerns and be empowered to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. The CAS is fully proficient in all aspects of the Learning Path and is knowledgeable across all lines of business and regions. The CAS will adhere to policies and procedures currently in place and maintain the required level of service to our customers. The CAS works within the parameters as defined by CertainTeed customer service standards and the Service Advantage guidelines. The incumbent must analyze and respond to fluctuating situations and conditions in such a manner that not only meets/exceeds the expectations of our customer, but considers the overall impact to the business. Proactively resolves customer problems/issues, exhibiting ownership for our customers. Essential Functions: • Accept, enter, schedule and maintain orders within SAP • Order Entry Document Manager (OEDM) • Understands and executes all types of order processing (EDI/Business Connections) • Verify pricing • Respond to inquiries, e.g. inventory availability, production schedule, technical questions, products and policies • Ability to build efficient truckloads and schedules in coordination with the traffic department • Is a high performer in the CAS Learning Path – achieving agreed upon metrics and demonstrating critical behaviors • Can function across all regions and in multiple business groups • Understands and correctly provides direction of the Service Advantage for our customer and Sales Team. • Expedites hot or special orders as agreed upon with sales and supervisor • Properly communicates, manages and resolves customer and sales issues in a professional and empathetic manner • Address and correct customer service issues, forward issues to appropriate department, continued follow-up through resolution to ensure overall customer satisfaction • Communicate any schedule delays in customer orders in a timely manner • Manage the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process within agreed upon policy, ensuring customer satisfaction, while ensuring guidelines and goals are achieved. • Cross train to gain understanding of the functions within Supply Chain to effectively support the overall Siding Products Group. • Provide coverage for time off, peak periods and perform at the Learning Path proficient level and as a high performer in all aspects of customer service and related cross trained function(s). • Maintain customer records within all software databases • Manage the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process within agreed upon policy, ensuring customer satisfaction, while ensuring guidelines and goals are achieved. • Other duties as assigned

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Qualifications • 2+ years of progressive customer service experience • SAP experience required • Prior experience with the ability to successfully resolve conflict • Some exposure to building products and/or retail industry preferred • Associates Degree preferred • Flexibility in working hours 7:30am – 6pm with some overtime and occasional weekends preferred • Willingness and ability to work from home during inclement weather or emergency situations preferred

The Manufacturing Technician I will perform entry level manufacturing duties in the production, assembly, and inspection of custom products used in cell and gene therapy and clinical trials. Saint-Gobain trains and cross-trains technicians on all steps in the process, so that technicians can learn new skills and develop their careers. Technicians work in ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanrooms to meet our customer's high quality and manufacturing standards.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate; Required

Experience: 

  • 1 year of manufacturing experience in a cleanroom/regulated environment; Required
  • Adherence to all gowning requirements when in the cleanroom, including, being prohibited from wearing perfume/cologne, cosmetics, makeup, and jewelry; Required
  • Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures; Required
  • Ability to perform basic math and arithmetic to measure and cut components to meet all specifications; Required

Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

POSITION SUMMARY

The maintenance/reliability planner effectively supports day to day maintenance work plans and manages storeroom to ensure parts availability to meet plant equipment availability and spare parts demand.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor to schedule manpower and resources for the most effective production and maintenance outcomes.

  • Responsible for up-keep and accuracy of technical information on processes, plant and equipment.
  • Assist with project and shutdown scheduling.
  • Continually improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management and job reporting systems to increase planning effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Able and competent in root cause failure analysis and investigations.
  • Ensure key performance indicators are captured and reported for equipment reliability and for storeroom efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure effective and standard storeroom practices are implemented and followed for Safety, Storeroom organization and management.
  • Ensure the purchase and availability of inventory necessary for repairs and operations.
  • Manage stores item procurement, inventory, invoices, and receipts.
  • Responsible for leading and executing the 5S activities to maintain the storeroom to standard.
  • Responsible for coordinating the shipping/receiving processes associated with equipment repairs.
  • Work on Capex projects.
  • Participate in Reliability improvement and modify existing drawings using AutoCAD. Store and maintain drawing of various assets in CMMS system or equivalent internal systems
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture by instilling World Class Manufacturing methodology.
  • Actively participate in plant safety programs and maintain a knowledge and understanding of Process Safety Management and safety standards.

CNC Mill Machinist - 1st shift

Job Summary Runs and monitors computer numerical control (CNC) milling machines, which cut and shape materials like metal to create precision parts based on digital designs and programs. Key responsibilities include operating the machinery, loading and inspecting parts, performing minor adjustments, and maintaining the machines to ensure the finished products meet strict specifications and quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to read blueprints. Experience programming and operating the Multus is required. Knowledge of operation of a Doosan, Haas, Hardinge, Captain and LB4000 desired. The applicant must be able to work with deadlines and production schedules to assure a quality product is delivered on time to the customers. A High School diploma or its equivalency is required, technical school training, apprenticeship program or equivalent. Successful work experience operating CNC metal fabricating machines (lathes, drills, grinders, etc.) desired. In addition, candidate must possess skill and knowledge in the set-up, adjustment and operation of machine shop equipment. Ability to read and interpret work orders, charts and blueprints and specifications, as well as skill and knowledge necessary in utilizing shop math and measuring instruments is required. Adherence to Quality Policy and Standard Operating Procedures and knowledge of those procedures will be a part of the daily process. Must be motivated, focused, and clear thinking. Ability to work safely and utilize good housekeeping is mandatory.

Compliance Investigator

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

As a member of the Saint-Gobain’s Compliance team within the Law Department, the Compliance Investigator will be responsible for investigating complaints from various sources that represent potential legal or policy violations. The role will support all SGNA businesses in the United States and Canada, interacting with all levels of the business though investigations. The role will also be responsible for working with various internal stakeholder groups (Legal, HR, Finance, Communications, etc.) based on the category and severity of the alleged misconduct to be investigated.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Investigate all assigned employee complaints with minimal supervision in a prompt, thorough, and fair manner
  • Summarize investigation findings in thorough written reports following internal guidelines and formatting
  • Make findings regarding investigated allegations and consult with internal stakeholders regarding investigation findings
  • Use experience and sound judgment to mitigate risk and weigh the importance and validity of investigation information to support investigation findings
  • Ability to convey empathy, patience, discretion, and active listening skills when investigating and discussing sensitive issues with employees and stakeholders
  • Proactively identify ways to prevent or reduce employee relations issues through the implementation of additional policies and procedures, training, and communications
  • Thoroughly and accurately track investigations and disciplinary actions in centralized internal systems, including BKMS, and assist with reporting on trends indicated in data
  • Follow best practices on documentation and maintain records as legally required
  • Periodically perform investigation-related training to sections of the business, as directed or required

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelors degree required. Degree in HR, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • JD is preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years of experience in employee relations, ethics and compliance, security, fraud, law enforcement, prosecutorial or related role.
  • Focused experience with conducting internal investigations
  • Strong problem solving and investigatory skills with the ability to research information and objectively analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action.
  • Strong listening, interviewing, analysis, and writing skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within an organization, as well as the ability to create and summarize detailed written reports.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • High level of integrity and objectivity to ensure proper outcomes are obtained and confidentiality is maintained.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws (both State and Federal) and regulations (for example, ADA, EEO, FMLA), as well as the ability to appropriately interpret and apply policies, laws and business practices when addressing employment matters.
  • Fluency in Spanish and or French is a nice to have, but not required.
  • Familiarity with data analytics software (Tableau or similar software) is strongly preferred.

Program Summary:

 

Our 18-month development program provides participants a full-time operational role, designed to improve their manufacturing skills and exposure to Saint-Gobain North America. Participants will be located at one singular manufacturing plant for 18 months and will be involved with quarterly travel to other Saint-Gobain manufacturing sites in North America. The time split between local site projects and EOM program activities is 80:20 respectively. Classroom-based E-learnings, hands-on action-based learning in operational environments as well as a plethora of networking opportunities, are just some of the activities in place designed to accelerate your career development and future career growth. These trainings and quarterly travel opportunities are a requirement for program completion and full participation should be given, except for extenuating circumstances. While start dates for EOM program participants may vary, program activities kickoff each year in July and end 18 months later in December of the following year. Upon program completion, EOM Engineers will work with our dedicated Human Resources team to find an operational role in one of our nearly 160 sites throughout North America. While a final placement role is not guaranteed, most EOM Engineer graduates are able to choose from multiple Saint-Gobain sites for final placement offers.

The role duties and responsibilities will vary depending on the location. Some examples of specific responsibilities are:

 

  • Providing engineering support for site process improvements.
  • Supporting capital expenditure projects/ new equipment installations.

  • Implementing new automation processes at the site.
  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and quality improvement.

Job Summary

Operate extruder machines to produce products which conform to part print. Assure products meet all quality specifications and are made according to the latest procedures and standards. Set up extrusion equipment to produce parts to specification.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Set Up extrusion machines by installing dyes, machine screws, and sizing rings to manufacture parts according to specifications using approved set up sheets to cycle machines
  • Weigh materials and other specified ingredients per specifications/instructions and Load blended materials in hopper on molding machines as needed
  • Operate extrusion machines to produce specified product according to customer specifications and ensuring Quality of the parts.
  • Inspect Parts for defects and make necessary corrections to troubleshoot them out of the process. Escalate when help is needed
  • Utilize the Manufacturing Execution System to update job data, material usage, locate process sheets, view prints, etc.
  • Measure Parts according to print guidelines using calipers, rulers, and other measuring devices.
  • Meet Productivity standards on a consistent basis. Escalate issues to management that will affect productivity.
  • Purge machines during the changeover process to ensure the machine is ready for the next cycle.
  • Set Up and Operate the cutter to cut tubing to specified dimensions.
  • Label and Seal Bags
  • Operate the auto winder removing spools f completed product and setting up the next spool to ensure proper operations of the auto winder
  • Set up the printer to properly label tubing per specifications
  • Suggest work instruction corrections/recommendations to help foster an environment of continuous improvement
  • Perform other related tasks, including but not limited to, performing housekeeping tasks required to keep work areas clean and organized.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Efficient and willingness to perform required work with good attendance and attitude. Understand SOP's relating to the department activities. Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. Must be a team player. Effective communication skills essential - both written and verbal

Must be able to properly fill out time reporting and work order documentation. Operational knowledge of injection molding machines is preferred.

​PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires walking, primarily on a level surface throughout the day. May need to climb stairs/steps periodically. May need to stoop or kneel and reach above shoulder heights, below the waist. Lifting as required with proper lifting techniques up to 50 pounds on occasion.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is in a clean room environment where the use of personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, safety glasses, and safety shoes are mandated. Noise levels and temperatures may vary due to areas accessed. There is some exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals such as alcohol.

  • Champion Safety Culture: Conduct engaging shift safety meetings to promote compliance with all safety, environmental, and health policies.
  • Empower Your Team: Monitor employee productivity, provide constructive feedback, and set performance goals that align with our organizational vision.
  • Communicate Effectively: Clearly document employee expectations, assess performance, and offer coaching and development opportunities.
  • Drive Talent Development: Oversee the training of production employees, ensuring they are well-prepared to operate manufacturing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Analyze and Improve: Assist in performing root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions for production-related challenges.
  • Maintain Excellence: Ensure workplace organization and good housekeeping (5S) while holding employees accountable for their work areas.
  • Manage Timekeeping: Review and approve employee time in the UKG timekeeping system, ensuring accurate payment in line with site policies.
  • Investigate and Audit: Conduct thorough investigations of EH&S incidents, perform EHS and SMAT audits, and ensure compliance with waste management and recycling responsibilities.
  • Contribute to Safety Assessments: Participate in the development and review of job safety assessments and standard operating procedures, engaging in incident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Flexibility in Duties: Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • General understanding of ISO methodology (ISO 9001, 14001, & OHSAS 18001).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with UKG and SAP systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate information and choose the best solutions.
